THE ORIIRE, OYO STATE, NIGERIA SCHOOL CHILDREN RESCUE : MOUNTING SECURITY CHALLENGES OF SECURING SCHOOLS NATIONWIDE.

On the 15TH OF MAY, 2026 the entire nation woke up to the disturbing shocking news that 46 SCHOOL CHILDREN and their TEACHERS have been abducted from 3 SCHOOLS within the ORIIRE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA of OYO STATE, NIGERIA sending the nation into a frenzy and fright!!

And for the agonizing 56 DAYS they were in captivity, the entire nation held its breath, lost her sleep and quivered at every single update or expectations from there, so when the comforting news came in the evening of the 10TH OF JULY, 2026 that our combined National Security Forces and Operatives in conjunction with the Local Vigilante Groups have successfully rescued all 46 SCHOOL CHILDREN & THEIR TEACHERS, it was like a soothing balm had been applied on our wounds.

However across the same OYO STATE and the rest of the Country, fear still lingers despite the safe release of these abducted SCHOOL CHILDREN into the loving arms of their parents as well as their TEACHERS because the litmus test now is how do we safeguard this particular Schools where the abduction took place as well as other Schools that may be the next target.

It has been 56 TRAUMATIZING DAYS of DRAMA, TENSION, FEAR, TEARS, PAIN, LOSSES and NOW a BREATH OF RELIEF from it all as Nigearians are all running huge unending commentaries and commendation on all that transpired right there in the forests.
