Are you a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with a passion for accuracy and excellence?
Our client, a reputable Real Estate Development and Investment Firm, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day financial transactions, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.
* Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets in line with company standards.
* Ensure proper recording of income from property sales, leases, and other investments.
* Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking.
* Oversee bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to support operations.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and internal controls.
* Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and management for financial reviews.
* Support management in strategic decision-making with accurate financial insights.
Requirements
* B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the Real Estate sector.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books).
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* ICAN or other professional certification (in view or completed) is an added advantage.
