Over the past few weeks, I've gotten a lot of complains from business persons & online marketers;
"Hello sir, customers are not buying from me and I don't know why,"
"Good day sir, I'm not making enough sales. Please what am I doing wrongly?"
"Sir please what can I do to increase my sales? It seems I'm making mistakes when selling"
And so on and so forth...
There are many reasons why people are not buying from you.
But what are these reasons exactly? Well it varies...
So today I'll be revealing 7 simple reasons why people are not buying from you (even if...)
Without wasting too much time, let's get straight into it, shall we?
1) You don't know how to sell.
You will struggle in sales if you don't know how to sell.
You see, "selling is an art that must be mastered."
That's right! You need to master how to sell.
2) Even if you do know how to sell, You are selling to the wrong people. They are not your potential customers. You need to be able to identify and find people that need your product/service.
3) Even if they are your potential customers, They don't see you as an expert or authority.
Nobody wants to hand over his/her money to people who are not sure of the business they're into.
To be able to sell to people, you need to be seen as an authority or expert, because you are dealing with people who are skeptical.
4) Even if they see you as an expert/authority, They have not benefited from you in anyway before. They have not received some valuable stuffs from you before all for free.
Customers are more likely to buy from those they've benefited from before.
5) Even if they've benefited from you before, They still need a good reason why they should buy your product/service.
Therefore it is your duty as a business or sales person to remind your customers of their pains and then position your product/service as the solution.
You should understand that people don't just buy products, they buy solutions to their problems.
6) Even if your product will solve their problem, You still need to give them good reasons why they should buy your product and not the product of your competitors.
What makes your product stand out from others?
What are the benefits, results or outcomes that your customers will enjoy from buying your product that they would not enjoy from buying the product of your competitors?
7) Even if they will finally buy your product, You need to give them good reasons why they should buy it now and not tomorrow, not next week or next month.
Why they should pay money into your account now, today without wasting too much time and procrastinating.
You need to create a sense of urgency and scarcity (FOMO; fear of missing out) if not they'll keep telling you; I'll get back to you, I'll get back to you and then they'll disappear just like that.
You need to create your FOMO factor so they'll be planning on paying for your product/service today and not tomorrow.
