Let us brighten up your Monday with the inspiring story of young entrepreneur Moyinoluwa Ariyike Oluwaseun , a winner in the photography category of the SME100 AFRICA 25UNDER25 AWARDS 2020.

Moyinoluwa Ariyike Oluwaseun is a 10years old professional photographer based in Nigeria.

According to her : "I was told I started playing around with a toy camera I was given at a birthday party at the age of 2.

When I was 3years old, my grandmother who is also a professional photographer gave me her old camera which I learnt I played around with alot.

My being a photographer is more of a generational influence as my parents, my paternal grandmother and great grandfather are all photographers. So I am the fourth in line of generation of photographers. Its in the blood I believe.

As my fourth year birthday gift, my parent who are also both professional photographers bought me a new professional digital camera, Nikon D7000 with complete accessories and that was how i became a professional photographer at the age of 4. I have an 8years old sister who is my partner in the business. We take pictures together and she is my editor. As a professional photographer I have had opportunities of meeting with lots of important people. I have also had the opportunities of going to lots of places I wouldn't have been able to go to if I wasn't a photographer. It has also made me popular in the society.

I have been featured in several International television stations like BBC, Aljazeera, Reuters, TVC, Channels Television, African Magic, etc.

I have also won several awards among which are ARTS AND CREATIVE PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR 2018 from NIGERIAN CHILD SUMMIT AWARD, KIDPRENEUR AMBASSADOR AWARD 2017, 2018, 2019, AMAZON AWARD OF GREATNESS 2017, KID INSPIRATION OF THE YEAR 2019 and also won the Nigeria's Youth 25under25 Award under the Photography category which was organized by SME100 AFRICA in 2020.

The 2025 edition of the 25under25 awards is underway, nominate a phenomenal entrepreneur that you know.
