As I watched you give the race your best, I couldn't help but admire your determination & tenacity.
They tried hard to break you mentally, physically and emotionally, but you are a tree planted by the river as described in Jerimiah 17 vs 7-8.
Thanks for showing up despite all the setbacks in the past one month, and making it to the final against all odds.
I saw the power of resilience in your eyes when you told the Journalist you will be back next year, bigger and better.
You have inspired millions of Nigerians and you remain a winner in our eyes. By showing up despite the challenges, you've inspired millions of girls to aspire and never give up.

The next time you find yourself in the midst of people who can't manage your light, or understand the grace you carry, tell them the story of Tobi Amusan.
The next time people gang up to push you out of a workplace tell them; If Tobi survived it, then you can.
The next time people judge your capabilities based on your nationality; tell them Purpose doesn't know country/region, it only understands GRACE.
The next time someone say Nigerians are fraudsters & scammers only ; tell them about Tobi's integrity even in the face of scrutiny.
The next time they say your dreams are unrealistic, tell them how this black woman shut her naysayers up over and over again.
This is the face of doggedness and determination.
