How to Create Your JAMB Profile

Important for UTME Candidates📌📌

Before you can register for JAMB UTME, you must first create a JAMB profile.

Follow these simple steps:
1️⃣ Send an SMS in this format:
NIN (space) Your NIN Number
Example: NIN 00123456789

2️⃣ Send it to 55019 or 66019 (using the phone number linked to your NIN).

3️⃣ You will receive a 10-digit Profile Code via SMS.

4️⃣ Keep this Profile Code safe — you will need it to purchase your JAMB e-PIN and complete registration.

📌 Important Notes:
Use only your personal phone number.
Ensure your NIN is valid and correctly entered.

Network charges may apply.

Creating your JAMB profile is the first and most important step in your admission journey.

*IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT JAMB REGISTRATION & AWAITING RESULT*

If you are using Awaiting Result (AR), you are fully allowed to register for JAMB.

Here is how it works:

• During JAMB registration, you can select Awaiting Result if you have not yet written your WAEC, NECO, or GCE.
• This does NOT stop you from writing JAMB or getting admission later.
• Once you write your WAEC or NECO and your result is released, you will then upload the result on the JAMB portal (through any accredited CBT centre).

Very important:
If you fail to upload your O’Level result after it is released, JAMB will not process your admission, even if you score high.

So, in summary:
✅ You can register for JAMB with Awaiting Result
✅ You can write JAMB normally
✅ After WAEC/NECO, you must upload your result
❌ No result upload = No admission

There is no problem at all registering now if you are yet to write WAEC or NECO.
