I'm Gregory Adedayo Akinlotan, a portrait photographer from Nigeria. I work sitting in a wheelchair and have recently been recognized with an award for my photography. I also run a business and enjoy teaching others about my craft. My guiding principle in life is to never let anything hold you back from being who you truly are.

I genuinely enjoy having conversations with my clients, especially when I hear a client say, “Is it not just for a day?”

I can literally take the whole day to lecture my client on why a picture does not represent just a day. 😂

I reminded her that her POP picture is not just about celebrating one day. It is a celebration of many years of hard work — from nursery school to earning her degree.

And beyond the celebration, it is about preserving that memory for generations to come.

Because one day will pass, but the picture remains. And years from now, it will still tell the story of how she got there.

Congratulations and I wish a prosperous life after POP.
