*Wike and his Gang's Expulsion from the PDP is a Right Step Towards the Party's Rebuilding Process.

‎The People's Democratic Party (PDP) didn't just expel Wike, the party also awarded him a "certificate of expulsion".

As it stands, Wike has the unenviable record of being the only one in history to be awarded a "certificate of expulsion".
‎
‎It may not have sunk well with him, but the only honorable thing for Wike to do now is to pick his certificate of expulsion with gallant grace of bearing and move fully into the APC.

Wike does not have to bestride the two parties like a Colossus,which he is not, and assume that party members will walk under his "huge legs to find themselves dishonourable graves".

Since he is now rejected by the PDP, he should pick his bits and pieces to find and possibly secure a good perch in his APC before he is rejected there as well.

Wike needs to be reminded that his corrosive influence may no longer be tolerated for too long and the earlier he appreciates this fact the better for him.

‎He should isolate his fights and avoid the ones he has no capacity to engage, much less win, else he will regret everything.

PDP Issues Certificates of Expulsion to Nyesom Wike, Samuel Anyanwu, Kamaldeen Ajibade, Umar Bature, and Others for Anti-Party Activities.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today formally issued certificates of expulsion to several high-profile members, including Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike, former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, and former National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu, citing sustained anti-party activities that undermined the party’s unity and electoral fortunes.

The decision, ratified at the PDP’s National Convention in Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 15, 2025, was unanimously approved following motions highlighting gross misconduct, sabotage, and collaboration with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The National Working Committee (NWC), after a three-hour deliberation, issued the certificate of expulsion in the presence of Party members and the media.

In addition to Wike, Fayose, and Anyanwu, the certificates were issued to:
• Umar Bature, former National Organizing Secretary
• Kamaldeen Ajibade, former National Legal Adviser
• Mao Ohuabunwa, former lawmaker,
• Dan Orbih,
• Austine Nwachukwu, former Imo State PDP Chairman
• Amah Nnanna Abraham, former Abia State PDP Chairman, and
• Turnah George.

Addressing journalists in Abuja, PDP National Chairman Tanimu Turaki emphasized the party’s commitment to discipline and renewal. “These actions were necessary to cleanse our ranks of elements who have consistently worked against the PDP’s interests, including holding parallel congresses, sponsoring litigations, and canvassing votes for opposing parties,” Turaki stated.

“With these certificates, the affected individuals are free to continue to align with any political platform of their choice, but they can no longer claim membership in the PDP.”

“We are holding our Inaugural Meeting Tomorrow in Wadata Plaza,” Turaki, PDP Chairman Vows.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Chairman, Dr. Kabiru Tanimu Turaki (SAN) has declared that his leadership will hold its inaugural National Executive meeting tomorrow, November 18, at the party’s national secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.

Speaking to journalists moments after submitting a petition at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Garki against expelled National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu and other “saboteurs,” Turaki announced that nothing will stop him and his colleagues from meeting tomorrow at the office.
