Dear Great Idoma Nation Family,

We write to you today with a deep sense of relief, gratitude, and sincere apology.

Around October 2023, our official page, Great Idoma Nation, was unfortunately hacked. During that period, unauthorized and inappropriate content was posted, including materials that do not reflect our values, culture, or vision as a people. We understand the confusion, disappointment, and anger this caused among our over 31,000 loyal followers, and for that, we are truly sorry.

We want to assure you that those posts were not from us. We made several efforts to regain control of the page, but it took time and persistence. Today, we are grateful to announce that we have finally recovered the page.

We deeply apologize to everyone who felt hurt, disrespected, or discouraged during our absence. Your trust means everything to us, and we do not take it for granted.

Moving forward, we have strengthened our security measures to ensure that such an incident never happens again. We are committed to rebuilding your trust by consistently sharing credible, educative, and culturally enriching content that promotes the pride and unity of the Idoma people.

We humbly ask for your continued support. If you were once a follower, we encourage you to reconnect with us. Together, we will continue to celebrate and promote the greatness of the Idoma Nation.

AN OPEN LETTER TO MY TIV AND IGEDE BROTHERS AND SISTERS AT HOME AND IN THE DIASPORA

My dear brothers and sisters,
I write to you today with a heart full of hope, unity, and a deep sense of responsibility for the future of our dear state, Benue.

At this critical moment in our journey, I humbly appeal to every Tiv and Igede son and daughter, both at home and in the diaspora, to see ourselves as one indivisible family. Our strength has always been in our unity, and it is only together that we can rise above our challenges and build the Benue of our dreams.

Benue belongs to all of us. Regardless of tribe, community, or background, we share a common heritage and a common destiny. What we need now is a leader who will serve with fairness, equity, and transparency, one who will carry everyone along and leave no one behind.

I stand before you ready to be that instrument of lasting and meaningful change. I am fully committed to building a Benue that works for all, where opportunities are created, justice is upheld, and development reaches every corner of our land.

However, this vision cannot be achieved alone. I need your support, your voices, your prayers, and your commitment, from your homes, your communities, and most importantly, from the grassroots. I firmly believe that anyone who prepares well and remains focused will not fail, and together, we can achieve greatness.

Let us put aside our differences and work hand in hand, united by a shared purpose. Together, we can rewrite the story of Benue, creating a future that generations yet unborn will be proud of.
The time for change is now. The time for unity is now.
Together, we will succeed.
