CHIEF CHARLES U. AHIZE, THE ORLU ZONE LABOUR PARTY SENATORIAL CANDIDATE 2023 STORMS THE STATE LABOUR PARTY OFFICE AMIDST CHEERS AND CELEBRATION, PROMISES TO EMANCIPATE ORLU ZONE FROM THE BO***GE OF VOICELESS REPRESENTATION.

The campaign train of the incoming Senator of Orlu zone yesterday stormed the State Office of the Labor Party for what can be best described as a working visit. Chief Ahize was accompanied by Orlu zone power brokers led by Chief Dr. Bathos Nwadike amongst others who described Chief Ahize’s emergence as the best thing for Orlu people come 2023 and stated that the long awaited emancipation of Orlu people and Igbo nation in general has finally come.

Chief Ahize thanked the Party for the successful conduct of their free and fair primaries where he is one of the beneficiaries of the process and challenged them to remain more committed and focused to the great task of leading the party to victory come 2023.

The incoming Senator seized the opportunity to narrate his roles towards the emancipation of the Igbos since the last four decades and formally assured them of his readiness to explore his contacts and reach towards the realization of the objectives of the Party and finally pledged to support the party whenever needed.

The Imo State working Committee Chairman of Labor Party in a swift reaction to Chief Ahize’s visit, admonished Orlu people to leverage on the opportunity given to them by labor Party to pursue and achieve their freedom from ineffective representation, stressing that Chief Ahize is top among the few who have passion for a better Orlu and Igbo in general. He thanked the incoming Senator for accepting the call to salvage Orlu people and finally assured him and his team of the unalloyed support of the party towards his victory come 2023.

Mbaike Born PolyNek Rector, Rev. Arimanwa Honored.

The workaholic Rector of Federal Polytechnic Nekede was last week honored by the Apex Youth body in Mbaitoli and Ikeduru Federal constituency.

The Youths who were marvelled by the Sterling performance of the Rector, described how Rev. Arimanwa lifted the face of Federal Polytechnic Nekede within his three years in office as Maverick.

The Convener of the group, Mbazuigwe Davidson Asikogu disclosed that Mbaike Youths resolved to confer on the Rector, the prestigious award of "ICON OF EXCELLENCE" in recognition of his academic and administrative ingenuity.
According to them, Rev. Arimanwa, by performing above board, lived out the exact nature of a true Mbaike man, and the COALITION OF MBAIKE YOUTH FORUM, on behalf of the entire Mbaike Youths decided to honor and celebrate him.

Amb. Steve E. Nnadi, the Co-Convener of the group described the award to the Rector as Apt, considering the level of advancement and upliftment of the Polytechnic by the Arimanwa led Management.

Mbaike Youths through the group, urged the Rector to continue his good works in the institution and called on the government to assign greater responsibilities to the Rector, as the reward for good work is more work.

REV. DR. MICHAEL ARIMANWA, bags the prestigious "ICON OF EXCELLENCE" Award.

The Apex Youth Group co-ordinating the affairs of the Youths of Mbaitoli and Ikeduru Federal Constituency, has honored the performing Rector of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, in his office at the institution.

The delegation of the Youth group which was led by a Social Crusader, Mbazuigwe Davidson Asikogu described the Mbieri born Rector as a man who has distinguished himself in his service to humanity.

The convener of the youth group, Davidson Asikogu stated that Mbaike is blessed to have Rev. Dr. Michael Arimanwa as their son, noting that the roles of the Mbaike born Rector has in no small measure transformed the Federal Polytechnic Nekede and made it the most sought after Polytechnic Nationwide which was affirmed by a recent Jamb rating.

Asikogu disclosd that the Youths resolved to confer on the Rector the prestigious Award of "ICON OF EXCELLENCE" in recognition of his academic and administrative ingenuity which has distinguished him among his equals.

Also speaking, Comr. Nokey Ebikam in his words eulogized the Rector and described him as a role model and an Epitome of love and Unity, emphasizing that the Rector through his achievements has made Mbaike and Imo State proud.

In his words, the Co-convener of the Group, Amb. Steve E. Nnadi described the honor bestowed on Dr. Arimanwa as most appropriate, stressing that the Rector has proven to be a true son of Mbaike by carrying out physical projects that transformed the federal Polytechnic Nekede and raised it to an enviable height.

Rev. Dr. Michael Arimanwa received the award in company of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Bursar, Chief Librarian and other Senior staff of the Institution.
Rev. Arimanwa thanked the Apex Youth group of Mbaike for finding him worthy of receiving the award in recognition of his achievements in the polytechnic and assured Mbaike Youths that he will not fail in sustaining the current status of the institution.

He also used the opportunity to highlight some of his achievements in the institution with emphasis on provision of Welfare to the Staff and Students of the Institution and creation of a more conducive working and learning environment since he assumed office.

GOV. HOPE UZODINMA, THE RISING SUN OF THE EAST, REDEFINING IMO.

The shared prosperity of His Excellency Gov. Hope Uzodinma has in no small measure brought an unprecedented breakthrough and remarkable developments in the entire Imo State such that even the opposition parties now appreciate the gains of having Gov. Uzodinma superintendenting the affairs of Imo state government.

Gov. Uzodinma has indeed changed the look of Owerri and it's environ by way of massive infrastructure and physical developments.
The proactive and people's Governor, Hope Uzodinma has achieved a great feat that no other Governor has been able to achieve in Imo State. Imo can now undoubtedly compete favorably with other major cities and States in Nigeria.

The people of Imo State are now very viable, responsive and participate actively in government unlike what the story was during the past administrations.

The two term national assembly lawmaker who represented Orlu Zone is undoubtedly a proverbial square peg in a square hole who has made great and uncommon history in the Nigerian politics with dividends of democracy equitably distributed amongst his people.

Gov. Uzodinma as an astute and effective lawmaker with proven integrity and political prowess, swung into action when he became the Governor, by gathering a handful of technocrats as members of his Cabinet to help drive his Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Recovery policies which his government is anchored on.

The Governor has continuously and relentlessly changed the negative narratives left by his predecessors and showed great tact in his approach to governance by meticulously addressing critical issues that have never been implemented before, in order to ensure a better quality of life for the people of Imo State.

Gov. Uzodinma has reconstructed key roads such as Owerri to Orlu road, Owerri to Okigwe road, Naze, Nekede, Ihiagwa road etc in Imo State and most significantly has focused on addressing the causes of flood that had plaque the state over the years. This was achieved by the construction of underground tunnels and road side gullies that has ended flood in the State.

The Gov. in his quest to touch all nooks and crannies of the state, has remodelled Dan Anyiam Hand Ball Stadium for competitive sports activities, and football clubs have since been engaging in football matches in the stadium.

At the peak of Covid-19, the Gov. introduced well equipped mobile clinics with State of Art medical facilities to care for the health of the people in the grassroots, he also partnered with W.H.O. to start the health insurance program in Owerri to ensure quality health care services to Imo people.
Still on health, the Governor also partnered with USAID to improve the operations and delivery of Water and Sanitation services to enable a healthy lifestyle for Imo people.

In the oil sector, the Governor has recovered 43 oil Wells from Rivers State government and the oil wells now belong to Imo people, meaning that more revenue now accrue to Imo people. He also commissioned the 5000 barrels per day water Smith Modula Refinery with a kick off of 45,000 barrels per day at Obogwe Ohaji-Egbema local government.
Gov. Uzodinma also saved N800 million of ISOPADEC money within his two months of assumption of office by ending the misappropriation of allocations meant for the oil producing communities.

In Youth Development, the Governor has provided a whopping sum of N4 billion for the empowerment of 15,000 Imo Youths with the sum of N250.000 each, as a stimulus to cushion the effect of Covid 19 on the economy.

These and lot more that have been put in place in Imo, are the numerous ways the Governor has redefined the state since his emergence.

EKWEDASHIKE PUNCTURES PDP, AS HIS KINSMAN UGOSLY DEFECTS TO APC.

The remnants of the opposition Imo PDP yesterday suffered another terrible blow as Barr. Kingsley Ononuju led his Kinsman Chief Ugochukwu Harry Nwachukwu (UgoSly) the Frontline 2019 Owerri Senatorial Aspirant of PDP to defect to APC

While addressing Members of the party, UgoSly stated that his entrance into the party was as a result of the fruitful efforts of Barr. Ononuju and Prince Charles Amadi who persistently called him to join the party of progressives.
He continued by thanking the Governor for his numerous good deeds in Owerri which has totally transformed the state, noting that it will not even take a daft upto 30 minutes to see how good Imo has been transformed.

Chief Ugochukwu Harry Nwachukwu urged Imolites to always Accord ovation to the Governor as he came in to the rescue the state at a time the state was drifting into Monarchy.
He emphasized that he has come into the party with his supporters to compliment the efforts of the party in bringing Owerri people into one big APC family. He thanked the ruling APC for giving him and his supporters a grand reception at the State Office of the Party.

Barr. Kingsley Ononuju in summary of his words thanked UgoSly for heeding to his persuasions and making this day come through, stressing that it is a great advantage to Mbaike, Owerri zone and Imo people at large.

The state party Chairman, Barr. Marcon Nlemigbo poured encomiums on Ekwedashike for successfully bringing UgoSly into the party and assured UgoSly and his teeming followers that they will be fully integrated into all activities of the party.

The event was attended by Prince Lemmy Akakem, Prince Charles Amadi, Nze Chinasa Nwaneri, all notable leaders and Stakeholders of Owerri Zone and all Ward and Local Government coordinators of Ugo Sly campaign Organization representing his over 500.000 supporters.
