If you are running Facebook Ads and you don't know what CPC means, you need to understand it now before spending more money.
CPC means Cost Per Click.
It tells you, on average, how much you're paying for each click on your advert.
But this is where I want you to be much careful.
Don't see a low CPC and immediately conclude that your advert is doing well.
You can have very cheap clicks and still make no sales.
Because the question is not only:
"How much am I paying for this click?"
The bigger question is:
"What am I getting from these clicks?"
Are the people clicking actually interested?
Are they messaging you?
Are they becoming leads?
Are they buying?
That's why I don't like looking at one number and using it to judge the whole advert.
CPC is important. But CPC alone cannot tell you whether your advert is profitable.
Learn the numbers.
Understand what they mean.
Then you can make better decisions with your money.
I'll be breaking down more of these Facebook Ads terms and strategies as we get closer to our Facebook Marketing Training on September 10.
Don't just run the advert. Know what you're looking at.
