✅ GOD’S WORD FOR YOU TODAY
Everyday and every time we make decisions . Every step we take is based on decisions we’ve made. THE TOTAL OUTCOME OF OUR LIVES IS BASED ON LITTLE DECISIONS WE HAVE MADE OVER TIME. We can say you’re your decisions. However, our decisions are always influenced by our environment.

Environment here doesn’t mean our physical world only. It means our spiritual and mental environment also. What informs the decisions you make? The Word or the world? Past experiences or biblical experiences? Social media rants & falsehood or Truth from true biblical teachings? Unbelieving friends or believers?

These and many more factors inform our decisions and influence the quality of life we live. Do you want a beautiful life and future? YES! I suppose that’s your answer.. it’s obtainable and achievable as you DECIDE to stick to God & His Word and not to any other standard or experience . You’ll make it in Jesus name.

✅ ACTION STEPS
Start being mindful of your daily decisions and make decisions based on Truth of God’s Word and wise counsel.

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

Pray for personal spiritual stamina. Let the Lord strengthen you with His own might in your spirit man. You will never fail , you will never govern up.

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

“I treasure your word above all else; it keeps me from sinning against you.”

✅ GOD’S WORD FOR YOU TODAY
Struggling with addictions, secret sins, human flaws, constant struggles, generational patterns etc and you don’t know what to do? Focus on the Word of God that tells you who you are in Christ and His abilities in you. Constantly live there and you’ll see your life reflect Christ in all ramifications.

There’s this touching story of a young man who was given to the Word of God, fellowship and prayers. He was always going to church, studying the Word & praying and then he got a good job. He was promoted and had great reputation in his organization. The organization got so big they started making excessive profits that demanded more of his time.

He didn’t create time for his personal studies and prayers and then stopped going to fellowship with believers because he was always at work. His pastor called his attention to it and he told his pastor about his indispensability in the office. Lo and behold, after a while he stole a large chunk of money from his office and disappeared.

What happened? When the Word wasn’t filling his heart sin took over. What’s your excuse for not “daily” staying in the Word & prayers? REPENT TODAY!!!

✅ ACTION STEPS
Schedule times of Bible reading and prayer daily. Pray for grace to study scriptures, pray & fellowship with saints. Have an accountability partner or friend that helps your growth.

Acts 6:4 KJV
But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

✅ GOD’S WORD FOR YOU TODAY
One of the greatest distractions of a believer in building a solid Word and prayer life is “SUCCESS or THE BLESSINGS OF GOD”. Many a time, the flood of God’s blessing is the excuse people give not to build a strong spiritual life.

A young man who has been fasting, studying scriptures and praying gets a lucrative job with much finances coming in and he cuts off from a well scheduled prayer life. Fellowship with the brethren depreciates. The blessing becomes a curse. A woman believing God for a husband and a family, gets these and then makes all excuses for not devoting her life anymore to God.

Beloved, beware of whatever is taking you far from the ever present God. The apostles in Acts 6 saw that the church was growing and their attention became divided. They quickly sorted out the issue so that the Word & prayer won’t be compromised. That’s the way to fight for your personal Bible reading, fasting , prayer life & fellowship with the brethren! You are strengthened in Jesus name

If you don’t have a Bible reading plan, go online and get one and follow strictly. Schedule times of Bible reading and prayer daily. Pray for grace to study scriptures, pray & fellowship with saints

TODAY’S TOPIC: GREAT POWER, GREAT GRACE 2

Devotional Text: ‭‭
Acts 4:33 KJV
And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

✅ GOD’S WORD FOR YOU TODAY
The early apostles have been seen operating in the power of God but here we see them operating in GREAT POWER. What gives birth to great power ? Great power is produced by great prayers… James 5:16 AMPC says “…..The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes TREMENDOUS POWER available [dynamic in its working].”

Take note that before Acts 4:33, something happened that made the apostles and disciples pray hard. They faced severe persecution and instead of crying or hiding, they prayed hard.
Acts 4:31 KJV says “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.”

PRAY TODAY!!! DON’T BEG THAT SITUATION! As you pray hard, Power will be released causing mighty changes and GREAT GRACE WILL BE AVAILABLE

The life of a believer is a life of Grace. It’s a life powered and fueled by the supernatural. A true believer works , prays, fasts, gives, invests, lives his life completely depending on the grace of God and not his ability.

Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:10 that he laboured more than all the apostles yet not him but the grace of God in him. This should be our mentality. Absolute dependence on God in everything we do.

Don’t have the “I will hustle to make it” mentality. This season trust God’s grace and you’ll experience peace and joy as you make outstanding progress. You are blessed.

*PRAYERS AND ACTION STEPS*

Declare total dependence on God and ask for forgiveness in areas where you’ve depended and boasted on your abilities ignoring His help

TODAY’S TOPIC: OPEN DOORS 2 : Oppositions are blessings in disguise
Devotional Text: ‭‭
‭‭ 1 Corinthians 16:9 KJV
For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

✅ GOD’S WORD FOR YOU TODAY
I love our opening text. It reveals the heart of Apostle Paul towards opportunities presented by God Himself. Even though God opened doors for him, he understood that there were adversaries or enemies also there. For many years I had quoted this scripture thinking Paul said “but” there are many adversaries. He didn’t use the conjunction “but”, he used “and”.

What does that mean? If he had said a great and effectual door is opened but there are many adversaries, he would be saying the adversaries are opposition hindering him from entering or making impact . However as he said and there are adversaries, he is saying that adversaries are part of the success story.

As a believer, focus on the great opportunities God is bringing your way. Enemies are part of the whole package. Opposition don’t bring us down they are our stepping stone. Hence scripture says “ IN ALL THESE THINGS WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS”. You will always win

Pray for yourself that this season you’ll be given to much prayer and spiritual exercises as you lay hold on open doors.
