The Recorder Flute is a simple Wood-plastic wind musical instrument taught in basic level of music school. It is the smallest musical instrument.
Recorder has its roots in the Greco-Roman civilization dated 3000 BC.
It is fipple, meaning that it produces sound when air is blown into it. It has a whistle - like look at its head and also 8-10 holes where the player puts his or her fingers.
We have 4 types of recorder namely :soprano (most common), alto, tenor and bass.
One can use recorder to play religious and secular music such as solo, harmony folklore ensembles etc. It often produces a soft, soothing, gentle sound known as "sweet mellow".
