Sometimes, the real story isn’t in the headlines. It’s in the voices of the people on the streets and in the markets.

A short walk through Anguwan 'Yan Kyuka (popular Sunday Market) turned into a real conversation with the people who keep the market moving. 🛍️
We engaged with traders to hear directly from them about the current market situation, the rising cost of goods, the challenges they face, and how businesses are coping in Suleja and beyond.

Maje–Dikko Road: A Growing Emergency

The deplorable condition of the Maje–Dikko Road has become a serious concern for motorists, residents and businesses. As road users seek alternative routes, the Kwamba–Suleja Road is now taking increasing pressure, particularly from heavy-duty trucks, and sections of the road are already beginning to deteriorate.

Suleja Parrots Media was on the ground engaging the community and hearing directly from those affected.

We are therefore calling on the government and relevant authorities to treat the situation as a matter of urgency and take immediate action to save both the Maje–Dikko and Kwamba–Suleja roads from further deterioration.
