PRESS STATEMENT: BY BARR KEFAS MUSA MAGAJI.

My Dear Compatriots of Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa-Balewa Federal Constituency,
As you all know, yesterday the 15th Sept 2023, the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja dismissed my appeal challenging the return and subsequent inauguration of Hon Jafaru Gambo Leko of the APC as the duly elected member in HR for our constituency.
Since the said verdict, I have received several calls and text messages of solidarity. I indeed cherish all the kind words and show of love and support.
Our current Constitution makes the Court of Appeal the final court in National Assembly election disputes.
As a Law abiding Nigerian, I accept the verdict in good faith and I implore you to so do.
I therefore want to use this platform to thank everyone that has been part of my the struggle to reclaim my stolen mandate.
I plead with you not to despair, and be as if we have no God who is all knowing or cares for us.
I appeal to all my supporters in Bogoro, Dad's and Tafawa- Balewa to support Hon Jafaru Gambo Leko being our representative at the House of Representative so that he will represent us well and attract dividends of democracy to the constituency in the next 4 years. He is no longer for APC sympathisers only, but for all the good people of Bogoro Dass Tafawa Balewa and Nigeria.
Once again, your support remains indelible in my heart.
Be assured that your LOVE has been engraved in my heart.

Re: Judgement

Dear friends, supporters, family and members of the PDP on this platform you will recall that judgement was delivered not in my favour on 20/07/2023 challenging the return of Jafaru Leko as the winner of the 25th Feb 2023 election in House of Reps for BDT Federal Constituency.

I want to appreciate every one that prayed or made any form of sacrifice in order that we reclaim our stolen mandate.Be assured that your labour of love is not in vain. It is not over yet, until it is over.

Our lawyers are studying the judgement with view to advice on the next line of action. I plead with us to remain calm and prayerful for a clear direction.

On behalf of everyone in the campaign team and supporter, we sincerely express our gratitude for the solid support we enjoyed and are still enjoying from us all.

Once again, be assured of my love for you all.

The experienced between KMM and QSK can't be compared. Quni might be good too but the pressure with the task to absorb is the issue.
KMM is a good person too, he has the quality, the experience for the job after being in the system for decades and still on.
And to be candid with you that cared to know; to let Quni contest with Leko for the seat, we should know how the result would be.
The polity should be seen beyond just natural feelings of love for our candidates but it should rather be to sight for who will remove the fat in the fire for us.
Hope with these few point of ours, we are able to convince you and not confused you that Barr Kefas Musa Magaji is the right choice for the seat.
