Nigeria is finished? No!
Nigeria isn't perfect. But it's moving. The data shows it. The people drive it. And the spirit behind it never stops.
Few reasons Nigeria is rising again - and the numbers don't lie:
1. Inflation is falling. From 33% in early 2024 to 18.02% by Sept 2025 - five straight months of decline.
2. The naira is holding. Reforms are working. Confidence is returning.
3. $6.83B balance-of-payments surplus. The first in years - momentum restored.
4. $20B+ in remittances. The diaspora still believes. Still investing.
5. Ports are moving. Cargo volume up 30%+ YoY trade is alive.
6. Markets are rallying. NGX Index up 45%+ YTD - one of Africa's best.
7. Startups are raising. Fintech, logistics, clean energy capital is flowing back.
8. Oil output is climbing. Dangote Refinery is cutting imports and boosting supply.
9. Power is improving. More solar grids. More. private investment. More hours of light.
10. Tax reform is real. 60+ levies gone. Simpler rules. Higher compliance.
11. Made-in-Nigeria is scaling. From Aba leather to Yaba software - local quality, global reach.
12. Afrobeats is GDP. Culture turned commerce. Influence turned income.
13. Agriculture is expanding. Cassava, cocoa, sesame from farms to export markets.
14. N600 trillion+ in digital payments. 40% growth YoY - the cashless economy is real.
15. Conglomerates are expanding. Nigerian giants are buying across Africa.
16. Fuel queues are gone. Fill up – and still make your morning meeting.
17. Super Eagles are still in the run. Hope is alive for the world cup.
18. Hospitality is preparing. Detty December is loading though yes, they might probably not take your international card this year
19. Everywhere you look, records are being broken. Someone's cooking the biggest jollof, and one aunty is probably already planning the biggest birthday party ever
20. And if you ask anyone how things are going... they'll smile and say, "E go better - God's grace."
21. Big Brother Naija is a topic again... the FX, Fuel, Inflation topics are not exciting anymore...
