Wizkid has officially been inducted as an honorary member of the prestigious Lagos Motor Boat Club, joining a league of notable figures like Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Ogiame Atuwatse III (Olu of Warri), Dr. Charles Hammond, and more.

He was honored with a certificate and club hat by the Commodore of the club.

Founded in 1950, the Lagos Motor Boat Club is known for its rich heritage, exclusive community, and stunning waterfront location in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Billionaire Aliko Dangote has revealed plans to list his $20 billion oil refinery on the stock market, aiming to give everyday Nigerians a chance to directly own a stake in the historic project.

According to Dangote, there will be no cap on share purchases, allowing for broad and inclusive participation. The refinery also intends to pay dividends in U.S. dollars, a major benefit for both local and diaspora investors.

He described the move as part of building a legacy project that belongs to all Nigerians.

“I met Timaya in 2009. By 2011, I went to his house, and he asked me where I’d been. I told him I was hustling. He said I wasn’t leaving his house unless I recorded a sweet song.

At the time, I was living in the ghetto, so I saw it as an opportunity—no rent, free studio, free food. I gave it my all. We were in Maruwa Gardens before moving to Lekki. That’s where I recorded *Alubarika*—and everything changed.

If Timaya hadn’t opened his doors, paid for my video, or believed in me, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
