Many people ask what the essence of posting regularly is to boost their business on social media.
While I will not debunk the fact that running ads and using influencers can boost your social media presence, I will note that it is not the only way to achieve this. I will not, however, run down the importance of posting regularly. And I don't mean just posting, but dropping quality content to help you grow and build trust for your social media presence.
Here are some reasons I believe will help you consider taking your social media posting seriously this year. Posting regularly will help your business grow in the following ways:
1. Keep your page alive.
Imagine checking out a business page, and the last post was like 2 years ago. Your first thought is that the page is dead, and that is how your brand page or business page will appear to visitors when you don't update the page. A dead social media page could ruin your business in several ways; for one, people may feel that the business is no longer in operation. Also, it may be a turn-off, especially to those who are active on social media, that the brand or business is not socially alive.
Posting regularly should not be such a big deal or hard to do. You can easily drop updates about your business, new prices, new products, or a picture of your workplace. Anything that tells the visitors about your business. Just post something, or better still, get a social media manager to manage your social brand presence online.
2. Building Trust
Nowadays, people quickly check everything on their smartphones, and it has become a great way of checking and verifying information. And it has become important that you can easily be seen when searching online. With the right information on your social media page, you may easily boost confidence and trust in your business.
3. Algorithm
Well, for the technical jargon, there are what we call algorithms on these social media platforms. And when you post regularly, it increases engagement on your platforms, and these algorithms help to improve the platform by prioritising its reach. Many of us are not that technically savvy on these things, but the more you post, the more the system pushes your post to people on the platform.
4. Customer Contact Process
One of the best uses of a social media platform is for you to be able to communicate with your audience. Yes, the platforms provide an avenue for your customers and clients to reach out to you easily. You should maximise these features to sell, collect feedback and reviews and boost your business. And it is totally free, so why should you be missing out on such a great feature for your business? If you can't handle the messages, then get an assistant or, better still, a social media manager to help you handle the messages and feedback.
There are so many reasons, and I believe you have one or two of yours, drop them in the comment section, let's discuss.
