Hon Mrs Pally Eghove, in her Unit 07/Etevie Quarters in Emede Ward 05, on the 11th of April, 2026, declared her intentions to run for the State House of Assembly Seat to represent the good people of Isoko South Constituency 1 . She said since Charity begins at home, she has decided to kick start this political venture from her Unit , to seek their prayers , counsel and support.
In her speech, she promised a Transformational Representation that will be inclusive, dependable , accessible, engaging and developmental.
According to her she is not just going to the House to debate, make Laws and sit at Committee Meetings only, but plans on transforming the lives of her Constituents through developmental initiatives that she will introduce. She has promised regular consultation with Constituents to be able to know their needs, their aspirations and concerns which will form the basis for her promised "People- oriented Bills .
She says she is not just going to represent but also to transform lives.
She recounted her developmental contribution to the Community ranging from influencing the Construction of a strategic road, empowering widows and single mothers to start small scale businesses, contributions towards communal and Party development etc. She assured them that if she could do all these with the little she has , if given greater opportunity she will do more.She emphasized that she has always added value to whatever position she has been given. And that one's antecedents speak volumes about who genuinely means well for the people and not just promises for the sake of elections. And that she has never gone back on her words and will never.
The Unit Members were overjoyed that she has finally come out. They spoke of their unalloyed support and warned her never to break their trust by collecting money and stepping down. The consultation came to a close with everyone in high mood.
