This case discusses the Enron Corporation debacle, presenting the business ethics background and leadership mechanisms affecting Enron's collapse and eventual bankruptcy in 2001. In the following sections of this report, related theoretical concepts will be identified and described clearly explaining the link between management theories and the case. 2.1 places a level of moral development on the convicted executives of Enron, applying adequate insight on the matter. 2.2 will take a look at which one of the five approaches for ethical decisions the executives at Enron used. Lastly, section 2.3 of the report will evaluate Enron’s sustainability in 2001 using the three p’s before concluding the case in section 3.
