NEW WORK
A NUCLEAR MUSIC PRODUCTION for John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando trailer.
The low-voiced voice-over says it already: another f*cking zombie game. Together with Focus Entertainment and Saber, this insane trailer premiered at the prestigious Game Awards. For this special project we dove into retrowave, synthy 80’s vibes, combined with the absolute banger of a classic “Hill of the Mountain King” worked into it. The result is a bad-ass, zombie-killing, team-building f*ck it atmosphere which perfectly fits the visuals. A hint of nostalgia paired with confidence and playfulness.
The track itself, “In The Hall of The Zombie King,” is available on all streaming platforms, for gaming fans to use online when creating content themselves, or for those who want to implement this synth-retrowave vibe into their own playlists or gaming sessions.
