Last week we had the unique opportunity to attend the B for Good Leaders Summit at the superb Amsterdam Conference Centre Beurs van Berlage. We spent months working on all aspects of marketing, communications, and signage leading up to the event. It was amazing to see all our work come together and join the voices and forces working towards a .
During the two-day event, we joined 1200 other CEOs, leaders, and future-thinkers with one thing in common: a shared purpose and commitment to shaping a regenerative economy and future.
Here are some of the key learnings we took home with us:
🍀 Change can only happen collectively and collaboratively. Leadership is crucial in enacting change. If the boardroom doesn’t rethink the most important goals and metrics to measure success, a regenerative economy will remain a distant future.
🍀 We must question and change the status quo.
🍀 Goals must be broken down into manageable, measurable steps.
During the B for Good Leaders Summit, we launched Let's play equal 🌈, the most unfair game in the world. This taboo-breaking game encourages diversity and inclusion in the workspace.
🎲 The board game is designed for organisations that want to encourage conversations around complex social issues and create mutual understanding and equity in the workplace and beyond.
On Thursday, the 11th, we took 120 summit participants on a boat tour through the canals of Amsterdam. We got so many sign-ups that we had to get a second boat! These members got an exclusive opportunity to experience the game's first play.
🎪 On Friday the 12th, we presented Let's play equal in a workshop in the B for Good Leaders Summits Jamming Room alongside the other founders (BR-ND People, BLYDE BENELUX, and Greenjobs.nl). Let's play equal is now available for order here: www.letsplayequal.com.
A huge thank you to Marcello Palazzi and Leen Zevenbergen for creating the event and allowing us to contribute. Also, big thanks to Francine Lemos, Daniel Truran, Astrid Zevenbergen-Colijn, Peter van der Reijden, Priyamvada Mehra, Fabrizio Bandinelli, Eric Ezechieli and Paolo Di Cesare for the fantastic collaboration.
