“This year has been an absolute rollercoaster. While in March I discussed the ‘what if’ scenarios with my accountant, I can now conclude that the ‘whatever it is, we will fix it’ attitude is a nice and firm standard to battle a crisis with. As a result, we welcomed lots of new agencies and strengthened our relations with current partners. Cooperative, solution-oriented, egoless: I learned these words are distinctive in our industry.

In order to provide our partners with the attention they deserve, we also welcomed new colleagues this year. We didn’t only double in the number of employees, we are also doubling in size: We are moving next month, three years earlier than planned. But no worries, it’s not that far. It’s just 2 units to the left. We will move into this beautiful office with enough meeting rooms, editing suites, and space to continue to grow in 2021 and the following years.

Christmas will be different this year: Unfortunately, there will be fewer people at the dinner table, keeping more distance than usual. But it’s necessary, as the coronavirus spreads quickly indoors - even though we cannot see the virus with the naked eye.

Bruut Amsterdam helped the Dutch government (Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport) to make the invisible visible. In an informal way, the commercial visualizes how the coronavirus is spreading unnoticed and shows people that accidents will happen if we don’t keep our distance.

The production is part of the close collaboration with creative agency Roorda Reclamebureau. Again, the commercial was set up at a rapid pace: We went from briefing to shoot in just two days.

From briefing to production and shoot in just 48 hours; exceptional times demand exceptional speed and flexibility. Bruut Amsterdam had the great honor to produce the most recent TVC for the Dutch government, part of the Alleen Samen (Only Together) campaign in the battle against the spread of the Coronavirus.

The Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport wants to draw attention to the increasing number of corona infections and our shopping behavior; the aim is to remind people of keeping their distance and avoiding crowded places, even in these last days of the year that used to be so pleasant to all of us.

The campaign video is part of a close ongoing collaboration between Bruut Amsterdam, and the advertising agency Roorda Reclamebureau and the Dutch government.

Each year on Literature Education Day, the reading promotion organization Passionate Bulkboek brings together hundreds of educators in twelve big theater halls to celebrate one thing: literature. "How can we possibly let this event continue this year?", they asked us. Well, like this 👇

Bruut Amsterdam developed and produced a full online event with a main stage in a studio in Amsterdam and seven substages where participants met with leading Dutch speakers and writers who gave lectures and workshops. And it was a success! More tickets had been sold than ever before.

Since the outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic, Bruut Amsterdam has been helping various brands and organizations with the translation of physical events into complete online versions that are of high quality in both form and content.

Aion Bank is a new challenger bank that offers ‘all-inclusive banking’ with Artificial Intelligence. Intelligence that makes your money work for you, instead of burning it. The commercial is displayed in Belgium and France.

New work. In order to attract new staff for the elderly care organization Florence in these eventful times, we produced films as part of the labor market campaign "We care for the elderly" in collaboration with Café Society and Gardeners.

In the campaign, Florence employees pay tribute to each other and to their profession. All the qualities you must have to get started as a care worker at Florence are discussed: From Cora's dedication, to Patrick's positive vibe and Misha's tranquility.

Deniz Alkaç (25) is eigenaar van creatief productiehuis Bruut Amsterdam. Hij stelt dat er nog een wereld te winnen is aan kwalitatieve content. 'Ik zie zoveel flitsende maar nietszeggende content, dat de werkelijke boodschap niet meer opvalt.'

In 4 weeks from brief to (live)production: last Tuesday we produced Holland's largest (digital) school prom ever. Bruut Amsterdam was responsible for format development, (pre)production and talent booking. Picked up by all the big media outlets and watched by thousands of kids, the success couldn't be bigger.
