Last Monday at our Young Faces media event, over 20 media received a flavourful glimpse of this Italian region full of contrasts — at the stunning HoogtIJ in Amsterdam Noord.
Here’s what made the evening unforgettable:
👨🍳 Chef Manuel Pichler (Falstaff’s Newcomer of the Year 2025) from Restaurant Tschein wowed us with a six-course menu that was anything but predictable.
🍇 Veronika Pfeifer from Pannenstielhof paired each dish with elegant wines and gave us a crash course in aroma detection.
🍫 Patissier Nathalie Trafoier from Restaurant Kuppelrain taught us how to make pralines with the most surprising (and delicious) flavours.
