Last Tuesday, our Dutch branch managers came together for the branch manager meeting.

Each branch manager presented their branch’s results and their plans for the coming quarter. That gives us a clear picture of where we stand and what we’re working towards, so we start Q4 well prepared.

Great to see how much energy and ideas there are across our branches, and how much we can learn from each other. Every day, our branch managers build strong teams that tell our clients’ stories.

Thanks to everyone for the presentations and the effort. Here’s to a strong Q4!

This week we officially started as a partner of Hivos in the Netherlands. This is another one to be incredibly proud of. From now on, our ambassadors will be out on the streets and going door to door for Free to be Me, Hivos’ campaign for LGBTIQ+ rights worldwide.

Why are we so excited about this? Because the cause truly matters. In 65 countries, loving someone of the same s*x is a crime, and in 7 countries it can even carry the death penalty. And while governments around the world are cutting development aid, monthly donors are more important than ever.

Hivos has been doing this work since the ‘90s, and it’s paying off: from almost 90 countries down to 65 in ten years. Being able to help build on that, with every conversation on the street, feels huge.

Team Hivos: thank you for the energy at the kick-off and for your trust. We can’t wait to get started!

For ten days, The Unwritten Library stood at Film by the Sea, for UNHCR.

117.8 million people have been forced to flee their homes, and most of them can’t tell their story.

Four of them got a book: Nyaguen, Abdelazim, Noori and Max. Whoever picked one off the shelf started a conversation.

This is what that looked like.

117.8 million people are living as refugees or displaced.

People like you and me. With an address they know by heart, a key still in a coat pocket, children who talk about later.

Most of them can’t tell their story right now.

For UNHCR Nederland, the UN Refugee Agency, we brought four of them to life. Nyaguen, Abdelazim, Noori and Max are on the shelf this week at Film by the Sea in Vlissingen. Real titles, real words of their own, real people.

Visitors pick one up, read the back cover and start a conversation with our fundraisers about what UNHCR does for these four. And for the 117.8 million others.

We build activations because we believe these stories deserve to be told. This is one of them. On until Sunday at Pathé Vlissingen.

Yesterday our branches traded their fundraising jackets for football boots.

Teams from across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany came together for our annual football tournament — a full day of matches, and sidelines louder than the pitch.

Afgelopen weekend stonden we met team DR (11 man sterk) aan de start van de KiKaRun in Hilversum 💚🏃‍♂️

Samen hebben we een mooi bedrag ingezameld voor , een organisatie die zich inzet voor onderzoek naar kinderkanker en het vergroten van de overlevingskansen. Met dat doel in ons achterhoofd hebben we 10 km alles gegeven tijdens de CityRun.

Extra shoutout naar Luca van het callcenter met een sterke tijd van 42 minuten 🔥
