At GreenTech Amsterdam 2026, Gabriël van der Kruijk from LetsGrow.com delivered a fascinating session on how AI can help growers move beyond information overload and turn raw data into meaningful action.

Starting with the history of how humans have always found ways to offload and organize information, Gabriël connected that idea to one of today's biggest challenges in horticulture: greenhouse teams now have access to more data than ever before, but not always the clarity needed to act on it.

The session explored how the industry is moving beyond manual monitoring and alert fatigue toward AI-driven insights and connected digital tools. The goal? A true "control room" for horticulture, where data supports faster, smarter decisions across the entire organization.
