Managing your own marketing may cost you more than you think.

Here’s how to calculate your hourly rate.
Annual Profit Goal ÷ Total Working Hours = Your Hourly Rate
Example: €150,000 ÷ 2,000 hours = €75/hour
Every hour spent on marketing costs you €75.

In 2017, SoTel Systems introduced MarketSpace, a new service, at the Channel Partners conference in Las Vegas.

I redesigned all aspects of their trade show presence, including booth graphics and promotional giveaways. I aimed to follow brand guidelines and create a display that would attract attendees and spark interest in the new product.

I designed the graphics, icons, and new logos for MarketSpace and its products. The main challenge was to make the new logo look fresh while still aligning with the SoTel brand. After brainstorming and refining, I selected a modern typeface and color scheme that aligned with the brand’s identity.

In addition to visuals, I wrote copy for event materials, the press release, and social media to ensure consistent messaging.

This is still one of my favorite brands, and I feel so honored to have been the one to propel DPCTED Apparel to cult-favorite status. Although it’s no longer in production, this remains a fantastic example of strong brand guidelines.
