Bumbuku Creatives is a design collective located in Amsterdam. We create content and visuals for social, cultural and environmentally responsible projects.

Bumbuku is an award winning, Amsterdam based Digital Storytelling collective, specialised in social impact organisations. We help social impact organisations and change makers reach a wider range of supporters by digital storytelling strategies and animation videos. Our mission is to increase impact of change makers working for a better world.

📣 Another Great News! Another Bumbuku Creatives animation short film; War Child, has been officially selected and will be screened at the prestigious 6th EuropeNow Film Festival in Glasgow and Edinburgh, Scotland, alongside an exceptional lineup of films!🎥🌍

Our animation film has been recognized for its impactful storytelling and depiction of the invaluable work by our client, War Child Holland, in creating a safe future for children affected by war.

This recognition, along with Bumbuku Creatives' success in other international festivals, truly honours our commitment to amplifying our clients' voices and spreading their impactful messages all around the world.

We are humbled by the opportunity to share our work on such a global stage, contributing to the development of narrative sovereignty and promoting important social issues.

The EuropeNow Film Festival, hosted by Council for European Studies (CES) at Columbia University and World of Film: International Festival Glasgow, serves as a platform to showcase contemporary European topics through various film genres. It sheds light on critical issues such as the refugee crisis, environmental challenges, LGBTQ+ rights, and more.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the War Child communication team, for their unwavering support and collaboration in bringing this compassionate story to life through animation.

Here comes another award for Bumbuku Creatives and our dear client Transparency Internationalwho works tirelessly toward creating a world free of corruption!

Our animation video telling the visual story of the findings and the core messages of their “Corruption Perceptions Index” has become the Gold Winner in the Political Video Category in MUSE Creative Awards 2022.

The MUSE Awards is a series of competitions hosted by the International Awards Associates - IAA and honours creative and design professionals' excellence. We are honoured with 5 of them in different categories among over 6,000 entries worldwide.

Moreover, we brought home several wins alongside this golden one!

This award honours not only Bumbuku Creatives' creativity and efforts to amplify the voices of the good people of the world but also Transparency International's efforts revealing the worldwide climate of corruption, off-balanced reality between power holders and bearers among nations and their relentless fight for human rights and democracy.

It is an honorary joy to shed light on this unsettling truth than to remind the world that the most potent force in the fight against corruption is all of us.

For the last three years, as Bumbuku Creatives, we have been the communication partner of H2020-MSCA-INTERfaces, whose invaluable and innovative research keeps us in awe.

INTERfaces is a fascinating EU project by Aarhus University and 21 partner organisations. In the lead of the outstanding scientist Selin Kara, a fantastic team of young scientists work to develop a production line of natural bioplastics based on natural compounds and give us hope for a better, sustainable future.

We are already honoured to contribute to their mission by communicating their research findings with a broader audience through the communication strategies and materials we generate.

Now we have other good news to share about the project. The first video of the animation series we produced for the INTERfaces, explaining their mission and vision, "A New Way of Thinking", is granted as Platinum Winner in Science and Technology Video Category in MUSE Awards 2022.

Amazing news! Another Bumbuku Creatives
animation film 'Indigenous Women and Climate
Change' we produced for our client Climate Investment Funds is in official selection in the
International Social Change Film Festival 2022!

The festival will be held in Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles. More and more people will hear
about the Indigenous women and learn they are
not only the victims of climate change but also
significant change-makers for climate action!

And more and more people will know about the
