I’m working on a new series. This series will be a follow-up to the last identity series (2020).
The new series will include three new works.
The drawings are made with pencil and will eventually be digitized. They will then be printed in RISO

It has been quiet here for a while. That will change soon 😊 There are some wonderful new and exciting projects coming up that I will love to share more about shortly. It’s also great to tell you that I am working on a new series of work. 〰️✨👌

✨Booklet Solo show Lado Darakhvelidze at P–OST

We made these RISO A3 booklets for The Caucasian History Lessons at Arnhem.
These booklets also include cards with prints of works by the artist.
💫 Below part of the text P—OST wrote about the show: “Caucasian History Lesson is a solo exhibition by Lado Darakhvelidze. P–OST invited Darakhvelidze to extend his project Caucasian History Lesson and add a new body of work and new dimensions to it. His previous projects The Caucasian History Lessons and Discourse Traveler study the ways in which history is taught in schools. They focus on how the “official stories” are undone when they are juxtaposed to each other, at which point all their ideological functions begin to break down and become undone.”

💫 Below part of the text P—OST wrote about the show: “Utopian vistas depict new ways in which minerals are no longer part of unsustainable capitalist structures that push us towards irreversible climate disasters. The artworks in What Are Men to Rocks and Mountains? rebel against our endless desire for innovation and control, to which the extraction of minerals is inextricably linked.”

💫New work! We made these RISO A3 booklets for the show Symbiosis Series at POST_ Arnhem. These prints are also limited editions with unique risoprints of the artists. Below the text POST wrote about the show:
✨ “For the first Symbiosis Series Natalia Jordanova and Alexandra Martens Serrano met during a ten-day working period in the exhibition space. Both artists research how language can function as a transferal of cultures. Is a fortune teller’s prediction just as accurate as the 'factual' information claimed in history books? Interested in phenomena such as mapping and transferring of information, constructions, and grids, they work with a variety of mixed media: from paintings with melted crayons to a sculpture made from refurbished Iphones.”

💫 Fresh new design and prints! We made these RISO A3 booklets for the show When Stones Awake. Below the text POST wrote about the show:
✨ “While some people and events are literally and metaphorically written in stone, others are not. It urges to ask: What exactly does it mean to be remembered and what does it mean to be forgotten? ‘When Stones Awake’ centralizes questions concerning our public way of remembering specific people and events. It presents artworks that deal, directly or indirectly, with the notion of remembering through monuments. The exhibition is looking backwards and thinking forward to raise questions concerning authorship of monuments, and mirrors memory and oblivion as symbols for life and death. ‘When Stones Awake’ shows works by Raul Balai, Semâ Bekirović, Olga Ganzha, Lennart Lahuis and Suat Ögüt, and is curated by Youri Appelo.”

New work! Together with Corine van der Wal made this windowshow called “This is not a void” .🌛🌜it's all printed in two riso colours and in the evening the fluor orange turns the show into a different experience. Everything is printed @ RisoWiso 🌈
