Our Sour team is heading to FRUIT ATTRACTION Madrid! 🍋
From 6 - 8 October, you’ll find us at Hall 6, Stand 6E04.

For us, a trade show stand is more than a spot on the floor. It’s three days dedicated to the people who make our sour world go round: growers, partners and customers — all under one roof.

It’s a chance to put faces to names, catch up on our partnerships and talk shop about what’s moving in limes, lemons, ginger and turmeric. In person, over coffee, rather than back and forth over email. Because somehow, conversations on a trade show floor move a little faster!

Whether you’re a familiar face or someone we haven’t met yet, we’d love to see you there.

Happy Birthday, Marlies! 🎉
This week, we celebrate Marlies, an important part of the Sour Supplier by FMI team since 2018.
As one of the driving forces behind our marketing and communication, Marlies helps tell the SOUR story every week. Whether it's creating content, supporting our branding, or helping shape the way we connect with customers and partners, her contribution can be seen throughout the company.

But what truly makes Marlies special is her human touch. With her listening ear, genuine interest in people, and caring personality, she always takes the time to look after those around her. She brings empathy, positivity, and a strong sense of togetherness to our team.

As the (for now 😉) only woman in the team, it may have taken some getting used to in the beginning, but today Marlies is fully part of the SOUR family. In a business that can sometimes be challenging and fast-paced, she always does her best to keep the atmosphere positive, supportive, and optimistic.
Whether she's working on a new communication project, helping a colleague, or bringing people together with her positive energy, Marlies is always there with a smile and a kind word.

This week, we celebrate Edder, one of the smiling faces behind the quality of our products at Sour Supplier by FMI.

Since joining our team last year, Edder has become an important part of our daily operations. Working in the warehouse, he plays a key role in checking the quality of our limes, lemons, ginger, and other sour products on both arrival and departure.
Known for his positive attitude, optimism, and ever-present smile, Edder brings great energy to the team every day.

And if you ever wonder where that energy comes from, just look at his step counter. Edder keeps track of his daily steps and regularly walks 10-12 kilometres during a working day!

This year has also been a special one for him, as Edder recently got married. We are delighted to see him start this exciting new chapter and wish him all the happiness it brings.

Whether he's safeguarding quality, supporting his colleagues, or brightening the workplace with his positivity, Edder is always a pleasure to have on the team.
