2D logo to 3D model? No problem - Resin printed > Sanded/Primed > Painted and Finished

Here, we began with a 2D file, which we used as a template to create a 3D model.

And why stop at one, our customer wanted an army of 26 hedgehogs!

This special grocery award was produced from a scan of a crate containing real foods.

Some design work followed to make it printable and we uploaded the design to a Form 3 resin printer and later spray painted in gold.

You may already know this iconic design.

Here, we were asked to replicate a scale-model using a variety of resin/FDM prints and post-processing. Our customer was able to go from a handful of original models to fifteen-plus pieces, enabling them to gift this design.

This delightful project helped an architecture firm to celebrate three of its longest-serving employee's, by gifting them models of the buildings they worked on.

The exhibitors ranged from machine and material manufacturers, to print farms in shipping containers, ancillary tools and much more. The event was truly mind-blowing for the first-time visitors and highly recommended by us.

It's shipping-spools-Tuesday at MTB3D.

We love returning used 3kg, 2,2kg and 1kg spools regularly to our supplier for re-use both from our print farm and customer donations.

Due to the spool's hard plastic construction, they maintain there function and use-ability for many years, saving money and unnecessary waste.

We consider this method of returning spools in bulk, as better for the environment than predominantly using (recyclable) cardboard spools.

Meet SEB who has just hit a year working with us.

As a native English speaker, he recently started a beginner's course in Dutch to keep up with more of the discussions internally, where Dutch is used as much as possible.

His main tasks include repairing printers and handling our deliveries to nearby and works on building a gravity bottle opener in his spare time.

Here is a project that a customer created at home, to assist them on their jobsite and drill accurate holes for a custom-designed rooftop.

With a few hard measurements and use of some simple shapes, you can work backwards to a better working day.
