Deepest gratitude to the author, who goes unnamed.

The author of “Does Marxism Support Decolonization?” did not wish to be named in the publishing of this book.
And does not wish to engage with the audience (at least for now, perhaps indefinitely). When people ask questions about the content, I will try to talk it through, from my limited perspective as editor and publisher.

The author’s political education work is uniquely valuable and has much such a difference in the radicalization of so many people. I’m glad that some of this work is available right now to study.

“Does Marxism Support Decolonization?” started off as a collection of quotes paired with analysis. It grew from the author’s observation of ignorance amongst settler Marxists who lack understanding of (their own) colonial history, and thus tend to reduce all contradictions of oppression to a class struggle. This feeds a belief that the only way liberation would happen is to just overthrow capitalism, while pushing the contradictions of settler colonialism aside.
This text is meant to provide needed education on the specific ways that Marxism would in fact align with Decolonization (based on texts of Lenin, Stalin and Mao), while also breaking down the ways that Marxist theory falls flagrantly short.

“Does Marxism Support Decolonization? An Indigenous Analysis of a Eurocentric Theory” functions as a primer for those wanting a comprehensive and accessible introduction to how Decolonization and Marxism do and do not overlap.

Folks in Europe can get a copy at landlinepress.nl.
North American distribution will get set up later this summer. Naarm/ Australia hopefully soon as well. For those wanting updates on that, sign up for the mailing list (you can go to landlinepress.nl and scroll to the bottom)
