Food often appears clean, simple and trustworthy, yet so much of the system behind it remains hidden.
With Reclaiming Food, we explored the distance between what we consume and where it comes from. Through research into local farmers, bakers and cooperatives, the project looks at food not only as a product, but as something shaped by labour, time, care and responsibility.
The installation makes the concealed mechanisms of industrial food production visible. It invites people to slow down, look closer and question the systems that have become normal in everyday consumption.
For organisations, this kind of work can open up critical conversations around food, sustainability and responsibility in a way that becomes physical, accessible and memorable.
Because food is never just food.
It carries systems, stories, choices and consequences.
