Today we printed a interesting picture frame with help of the "FHS" principle. The fun part is that the Triple D3 sheet we use acts as a Stick-and-Slide pad. First the PLA filament sticks well to the sheet, being installed after the automatic stop, producing an exiting open back panel with living hinge function and afterwards you just release the sheet with a little pressure; slide it out and replace it with your favorite picture.

3D overprint: Exit Sign : the do's and don'ts

Do, readjust the Zo height ( add thickness of sheet material ). use a test piece to check the Zo height. clamp the sheet tightly to the heating bed ( temp 55 degr.C). use compatible filament to create a permanent bond use comp and hop in order to avoid travel marks

Don't, use warped sheet material use different filament material glue the sheet with low adhesion tape

Pictures: show clamping and good and bad result ( travel marks )
