Soms valt de timing gewoon mooi samen.

Op vrijdag 11 september presenteert Crossroads Fest samen met Brouwerij HEFT in Assen het eigen festivalbier Blues and Beyond Blond.

En juist diezelfde dag verschijnt Used Parts (Coast To Coast), het nieuwe album van Jeffrey Halford & The Healers.

De titel Blues and Beyond had bijna ook op Jeffrey kunnen slaan. Blues vormt al jaren een belangrijk onderdeel van zijn muzikale DNA, maar zijn muziek beweegt net zo makkelijk richting Americana, rootsrock, country en soul.

Twee weken na de release komt dat allemaal samen in Assen: op zaterdag 26 september staan Jeffrey Halford & The Healers live op CROSSROADS Festival.

Een nieuw album, een festival dat bluesbewust breder trekt en zelfs een eigen Blues and Beyond Blond. We kunnen slechtere redenen bedenken om eind september naar Assen af te reizen.

Sometimes a review is more than just another good review.

French music platform Paris Move doesn’t give Jeffrey Halford & The Healers Used Parts (Coast To Coast) two, three, or four stars. Editor-in-chief Frankie Pfeiffer awards it their ❤️ “INDISPENSABLE / A MUST” distinction.

He describes the album as “rich, generous, deeply human” — music built on real stories, real scars and thirty years on the road.

Slowly climbing the Americana Music Association Albums Chart and with the September Euro Americana Chart ahead and the ninth European tour starting September 25, Used Parts feels like it's building real momentum not only in the US but also in Europe.

Sometimes an old video pops up when you least expect it.

This is "Rainmaker", filmed at Lazy Sonnie Afternoon at La Sonnerie on May 8, 2016. Hard to believe that was almost ten years ago.

Jeffrey Halford & The Healers played a lot of miles and a lot of songs since then. There was even a year when the road went quiet, and our 2020 European tour never happened. But somehow good music always finds its way back.

This October Jeffrey Halford, Adam Rossi, and Kevin Thomas White will be back in Europe once again, and every time they return it feels a little like they are coming home.

Thanks to everyone who's been part of their journey over the years—and to Theo Looimans who captured this moment.

Before its official release on September 11, Jeffrey Halford & The Healers' new album Used Parts (Coast To Coast) has already entered the EuroAmericana Chart. An encouraging early sign that the record is finding its audience across Europe, weeks before the band begins its ninth European tour.

Looks like a few of these used parts still have a few miles left in them...

Well, this was a nice surprise to wake up this morning.

Used Parts (Coast To Coast) has debuted on the August EuroAmericana Chart, even before its official release on September 11.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who's listened to the advance release, played it on the radio, reviewed it, or helped spread the word. It means a great deal to know these songs are already finding their way into people's lives.

In a few weeks we'll be packing up and heading back to Europe. We can't wait to play these songs live, reconnect with old friends, and hopefully make some new ones along the way.
