Studio another day - graphic design Another day — Graphic Design
Studio voor /Grafisch ontwerp/ Webdesign / Identity Design / Packaging D Yorick was born in 1985 in Lelystad, the Netherlands.

Another day is the graphic design studio of Yorick de Vries. Now he lives and works in Nijmegen. Yorick de Vries has a strong and own developed visual language that speaks and leaves opportunities for interpretation by the eye of the beholder. Somewhere in 2004, Yorick de Vries and Joris Budel joined forces and became “Atelier 152” (before Atelier 152 they were called Versch ontwerp)

After seven

great years of intensive, successful collaboration,
they felt that it was time to take their own adventure in
the crazy and still fast growing world of graphic design. So in 2012, Yorick de Vries started the studio “another day”

After a year on his own Yorick de Vries asked Bart van Haren to join forces after a fruitful first collaboration. Bart van Haren, 1988, is living in Rotterdam. He is a conceptual, systematical designer with a passion for the public domain. And this combination, the conceptual systematical design on the one hand and the free, inspiring forms from Yorick de Vries on the other give the designs a tension between two extremes. Another day’s main focus lies in the field of art and culture with a specialization on typography and printed matter. For more info or questions please feel free to contact me.

Anapnéo by Simon Duijs went on press today.

We had a wonderful time at — great people, and what a machine! The book was printed on an LED UV inkjet press, with an amazing color range and deep blacks on uncoated paper.

Looking forward to seeing the finished book. Next step: binding.

As part of the visual identity for album Building a Cathedral, I designed the posters for the upcoming tour. We took Stefanie from the album shoot and placed her within a typographic architectural setting. The posters were printed in two spot colours, matching the palette we used for the album artwork.

Different poses were used for different shows.

This was one of my favourite projects of 2023.janssen.artist

For - Building A Cathedral, we shaped the record sleeve, photography, and art direction into one cohesive visual identity.

Built around two dots, a bold two-tone palette, expressive typography, and staged imagery with Stefanie Janssen at the center, the project transforms the album’s ceremonial rock-opera spirit into a striking graphic language.

From cover to inner sleeve to vinyl, image and design come together as a contemporary cathedral — ritualistic, theatrical, tactile, and future-facing.

Printed in CMYK + pms bright red U + pms violet U.

Memory Palace / Geheugenpaleis, a popnoir album and research project by is a cross-media graphic design project that transforms historical research into a tactile music artefact. Based on the life of 19th-century outsider Nicolas Reubsaet, it brings research, music, photography and design together in one vinyl LP. The sleeve contains a bound research book, making listening and reading part of the same experience.

and I built a memory palace out of greyboard and treated it with a thin layer of cement.

The sleeve is printed in two blacks, a PMS grey, and a custom silver ink.
The booklet is printed in silver on black Genesis paper supplied by , and bound by Voetelink with silver yarn.
The inner sleeve is screen-printed by .

Entre Chien et Loup by is a photobook that, in many ways, feels like a short film. Named after the French expression meaning “between dog and wolf,” it explores a suspended space where the familiar begins to shift into the unknown. Through cinematic sequencing, atmosphere, and material presence, the book invites a slow and contemplative encounter with images that resist fixed meaning.

Printing by we printed it with an additional black on an LED-UV press.

The first and last signature is printed digitally with two times white ink and black ink on Sirio Royal Green by .paper , the rest of the interior is printed on Lessebo Design by and bound with orange yarn matching the orange PMS of the cover.

Zelfie is an editorial project initiated by Work & Income ’s Hertogenbosch (Municipality of Den Bosch), in collaboration with photographer . Built from first person stories by female status holders, it asks one central question: what does ambition mean?

The design revolves around the horizon, the line between what is behind you and what is coming into view. Interior and environmental images run full bleed, carrying lived space, memory, and daily life. Across the publication, photographs meet in horizontal cuts, revealing contrasts and parallels. The horizon becomes a place of overlap, tension, and possibility.

Portraits are set apart with generous white space, placing the women at the center with calm, focus, and dignity. A gradient from deep indigo to warm saffron red runs through the newspaper, echoing movement, change, and growth. Selfie frames ambition not as an endpoint, but as something shaped over time, a horizon that can keep shifting.
