PRINTS - I’ve been busy making prints, kitesurf prints especially. I’m thinking about getting them printed on some items. Like notebooks, torenhaan etc… would you like that? What would you like to see prints on?

Best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is this…

“Start before your ready”

I feel as a business owner your are never ready, there’s always something missing. The website (mine is still not finished and I still get tons of requests), business cards (I don’t even have them) newer gadgets, because I think that will level up my work. Even thought my iPad still works fine and my iMac is from 2015. There’s always a little voice telling me, I need something before I can start… But let me tell you this, you are never ready, there’s always something holding you back and I want to inspire you to go do something about it this weekend and just start! In the end youll ask yourself why you didn’t start sooner ;)

Ready for a pro tip that will blow your mind?

“Pictures say more than a thousand words”

Let that sink in.. this doesn’t only apply to photos but for illustrations as well. They create a certain feeling or make something clear in an instant, that might take a lot more words.

This can come in handy for your business. Maybe you offer a service where you have to explain something to a customer, for instance… the healing proces of tatoos.. you can explain to someone what to do with a lot of words or hand them over an information leaflet typed out with what to do.. but you can also make it into something unique to your business, with illustrations that explain the healing process. How cool is that? It gives the customer another experience, you look knowledgeable
And have illustrations that are cohesive to your brand to explain it.

My most popular service? That is definitely personal portraits.

Why? Well because everyone loves the outcome. Like really love it! Mostly the illustrations are gifted to loved ones or friends. Or as a thoughtful memory of someone that’s no more around us.

But also for small businesses that want their business to stand out with unique illustrations…

Imagine having your business cards of your dreams with a unique logo for your business. Or illustrations that explain something that is unique to your business.
I love providing these services and I love that my clients get so much out of it.

Sometimes I like to incorporate something personal into a drawing. Sometimes it’s me with a little twist.
