Taking the opportunity to use this, small painting on a made on postcard aquarel paper, to say "hello, friends on the internet"

I've been in my cocon, struggling with my health (and disappearing online) these last months. When I am in more pain, I tend to get more introverted as well... and my tactics always been to fade in the background. I want to learn to still share my (artistic) journey in the margins.

I do hope you too have animal(s) snuggeling with you and supporting you through life challenges you are dealing with, since we all have our share... I feel so blessed with my cats who are a source of joy and a life line ❤️

Peggy does not bother with time at all. She is in the moment, relaxed.
During drawing I fooled around a lot with the background and decided to change the Piglets surrounding from the reference quite a bit, I felt she just needed to sniff the grass and all those interesting smells around her. As usual, things did not go according to plan and I post her just after the weekend (instead of in the weekend)... then again, a happy animal is also a good start of this week right?!

R e l a x and meet Zen the Fox.
While looking at him I almost feel the sun kissing his fur and the wind softly rustling between the long grasses. So peaceful.

Be aware of the moments when the sun touches you eyelids, to close them and just breath... just listen... before going on in your day. Zen reminds me that it are the stolen little moments in time

Long overdue, It is time to introduce you to Don!

This is what happend: I was in need of a smile and then I tend to look at animal pictures or video's like so many of us do, Then, one afternoon I came across his photo on the fabulous web. Staring to the donkey's cute face made me chuckle... and that what kept happening looking a him.... this continued while I worked on this drawing and quite soon I knew: I have to draw more happy animals if only it was for self care.... So in case you are in need of a smile, look at my new friend: Don Donkey

The Animals first arrived in the in the physical world during Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend and it is overdue they come to the web as well!

Komend weekend is er het Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend en wij doen mee! GRAW is een grootschalige open atelier route, een route welke ik de afgelopen jaren met veel enthousiasme heb bezocht. Het is zo tof nu mee te doen!!!

Ik zal samen met Gilberts Wood in ons atelier in de SodaFabriek Schiedam te vinden zijn samen met anderen van de Sodabunch die open atelier houden.

Vrolijk nieuw werk komt zijn introductie doen, kom jij kijken?
Wij zijn er 16 & 17 September, tussen 11:00-17:00 bij de Sodafabriek, Makkerstraat 11, Schiedam.

of haken we in bij locale evenementen en met eigen aktiviteiten.

Nu vind de bunch het leuk om andere creatievelingen een podium te geven en toffe activiteiten te co-creëren.
