| FINALIST | HABITAT #4 | CIVIC / The Cloud Collective and BRIGHT / The Cloud Collective produced an interactive design which unites architecture, public spaces, heritage and room for circulation. The architecture leaves a lasting impression and has been designed to look just as innovative and interesting in thirty years’ time as it does today; a form of sustainability which the committee appreciates.

We are looking for a code reviewer for our Java-based RNDR application framework. Interested or know somebody who might be? Spread the word!

—What is RNDR?
RNDR is a software library that simplifies writing real-time interactive software, notably —but not limited to— audio-visual software. The library is meant to be used for prototyping as well as production.

RNDR is developed at/by LUSTlab and is a core technology that receives frequent improvements and maintenance to its codebase.

RNDR provides an application framework that allows its users to write applications that run on Microsoft Windows, macOS and Linux platforms. For future versions we would like to see this expanded to the Android and Raspberry PI platforms.

RNDR is written with the idea to provide simple, reusable utilities with which creative coders can build robust, fast and reliable (interactive) applications.

RNDR is written in Java and fully embraces its existing infrastructure of (open source) libraries, editors, debuggers and build tools.
