In his 80th year, Maarten ’t Hart received the prestigious P.C. Hooft Award, and we had the honour of creating something special for  to celebrate his life and work.

Maarten ’t Hart was both a biologist and a writer, and that duality became the foundation of our concept. We designed a digital display cabinet filled with 80 objects, each tied to a different theme from his life. Together, they tell the story of his curiosities, his passions and his unique way of looking at the world. The full digital exhibition is now live. Visit via the link in bio.

In his 80th year, Maarten ’t Hart received the prestigious P.C. Hooft Award, and we had the honour of creating something special for to celebrate his life and work.

The organisation Arts in Health Nederlands commissioned us to create their new identity and website. Their mission is to integrate art and creativity into the Dutch healthcare system. Recognizing the healing power of creativity, we put ‘the joy of making’ at the heart of the new visual identity.

Many people believe they aren’t creative, but we disagree. The identity invites everyone who engages with it to ‘make something.’ The website not only provides detailed information about the foundation but also acts as a canvas for users to express themselves.

At the launch event, The Arts in Health Netherlands Foundation distributed 400 whitepapers, each uniquely hand-stickered in collaboration with us. The stickers can be removed and repositioned, allowing recipients to create their own compositions. This playful element of the identity is also highly functional, enabling the foundation to stand out in a field dominated by white coats. Two weeks ago, we hosted the first edition of Bread & Butter, led by our partner and strategist Annika Geurtsen. The event explored the intersection of Accessibility & Aesthetics and featured inspiring talks by Fresco Sam-Sin and our UX designer Tizian Fendt.

Tizian discussed the upcoming European Accessibility Act 2025 and emphasized the importance of designing and building for everyone. Fresco took us on a personal journey through objects, exploring their meanings and how they reflect the way the world is designed.
