A couple of years ago I created a new website for stichting , a diverse and mixed-abled theatre company. 🎭

Since then I’ve been maintaining the site, and soon I’ll be giving a major behind-the-scenes upgrade to the 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 in the system (shows, participatory events, team members, etc) so everything will be better connected, easier to find, and less work for their team to keep up-to-date. 🔧

While most of the work I share here is web design–related, my expertise lies more in UX design and information architecture (in short: making complex systems understandable and usable). 🧠

Over the past four years, I worked on a large-scale project for a company in Eindhoven that develops Pick & Place machines (high-precision robots that place electronic components onto circuit boards). 🤖

For them, I designed a complex system of interconnected modules and tools that provide insight and help improve various aspects of the factory floor: machine performance and potential improvements, upcoming maintenance, production planning and preparation, and more. 📊

Not the most flashy project for Instagram, and some details have to stay behind the factory doors 🔒 but it’s to show that my work reaches far beyond web design: into complex system design and information architecture. I haven’t been very active here the past 4 years, as this major project kept me busy. I did do some web design in the meantime, and I’ll be sharing more of that soon to bring this account “up to date”. ✨

Recently we’ve given the Murf/Murw festival website a fresh update: a cleaner look, an agenda with all Murf events throughout the year, and new “festival” and “zine” pages with clearer info about everything Murf/Murw is (is it a zine? is it a festival? nope… it’s Murf/Murw man!). 🦸

The festival is less than a month away (tickets available via the site! www.murfmurw.com), and the Murf-team is in full swing preparing an amazing edition for you. 🏋

After this year’s festival, I’ll work with Murf/Murw to improve the website even further. 💡

I have been quite busy with a large ux design project so therefore the webdesign has been a bit quiet lately. However, I do have created some websites over the last couple of months, and there are some webdesign projects coming up, so I might share a bit more here soon. 🎁
