Made a bunch of new riso Thank-You-cards. I'm in love with this intense colour combo. It makes me happy every time.

We started experimenting with our riso prints. Layers from different designs printed on top of each other. We are very happy with the, sometimes unexpected, results. We did not know that red riso ink on black paper would turn golden!!! We we're jumping up and down when we saw this print come out. We printed on some older prints made with metallic gold, and we printed our red vinyl over it. On the golden ink the red stayes red. But on the black the red turns golden. Such a nice discovery. We will make some more and put a limited edition on Etsy. (or order via dm)

We've been testing and testing and testing and ....
Here are the results of some of the colour testing we did with our new risograph!
Lots of nice new mixes and combo's.

We finally have orange ink now, on our (new) risograph. So we just had to make a print with it.
This kingfisher is printed in orange, aqua and black.

New riso print in the Extra Ordinary series: the Zipper.
What a brilliant invention!
The zip fastener was originally invented by the American Whitcomb Judson in 1893, who patented it as a ‘clasp’ for shoes. However, the modern, reliable zip fastener / zipper as we know it today, was developed and improved by the Swedish-American engineer Gideon Sundback around 1913, who replaced the hooks and eyes with teeth.

Another iconic piece of architecture in the riso print Utrecht series.
This huge concert hall / music venue TivoliVredenburg took some getting used to, but slowly but surely the interesting graphic elements in the design really won me over. So high time to add it to our Utrecht series

We've been screenprinting our Coffee Filter last week.
We had to reject the first batch because a registration mark had been left on it. Silly mistake. But the second edition is printed pretty nicely!!
They will be available soon, we still have to number and sign them.
(The rejected prints will also be available, at a substantial discount, unsigned but marked with our 'oops' stamp)
