A while back, we designed our first mascot. We were asked to design a character by an agency that works with children with dyslexia. Together with the client, we decided it shouldn’t be a boy or a girl—and preferably not an existing animal. So we designed this friendly little creature. It’s recognizable (and relatable) as a living being, but not as anything from the real world. In the end, it doesn’t have a set name, because the children get to name it themselves in their own workbook.

We received some beautiful, large frames from our neighbors around the corner. We hung two of them on the wall of our studio. With some VrijFormaat stuff in them off course.
You could say it's a bold statement. Or, it's in your face, or call it impactfull. Not sure yet. But they are there and they have colour and size :)

A series of screenprinted posters.
All available in our Etsy shop. Except the double printed one on the right.
We have several unique double printed screenprints in our studio. If you want one of these come see them in person. (just send a message and we'll schedule an appointment)

Here it is again; the building most people in our city love to hate. The Neudeflat.
We've made a special edition in orange and medium blue on A3. Signed and numbered, edition of 50.
We love it (on print) And you?

This Saturday you can find us on a market at Domplein in Utrecht. Reason to finally make a riso print of the Dom tower. We decided to make a print of the passage beneath the tower and not the standard view. Because we love that you can walk and bike underneath. Years ago you could also encounter the city bus that would just fit… scary moments!

The wild swan or with it's scientific name: Cygnus cygnus.
Not really a summer bird in our country. It is primarily a winter visitor to the Netherlands. They breed for example in Scandinavia and spend the winter in Dutch meadows and on bodies of water in the dune areas.
The Wild Swan is the latest addition to our riso Birds series.

Summertime summertime sum sum summertime, SUMMERTIME...
Let's get those monoblocs out on the lawn and relax a bit.
We've got lot's of prints with monoblocs. Big prints, small prints, riso prints, screenprints, polymer cliche prints en they even pop up in the lino prints Esther makes. Is this an obsession? Mwah.... it will probably pass (some day)
