Rebranding an NGO is not about beauty. It’s about purpose, clarity, and relevance, especially in environments where trust matters.

We at Snono were approached by what was then called NFDHR to rethink their brand. Together, we started with the name and explored many directions until one felt right: NAHR , the Arabic word for river. Simple, familiar, and meaningful. A river moves, gives, adapts, and creates impact without noise.

From there, we built a full identity rooted in context, not trends. The logo was inspired by a water drop, with a human figure shaped like an arrow inside, placing people at the center and symbolizing movement and progress.

The result is an identity that goes beyond visuals. It carries meaning, respects where Nahr came from, and reflects where it is going.

New Look. Same Drive.

We recently worked on the new identity for Your Gulf Line (YGL) — a logistics company based in London, operating since 1977, quietly moving goods across land, sea, and air.

The new logo captures the spirit of YGL:
A bold, confident form inspired by a ship in motion, powered by three flowing lines that represent movement, connection, and momentum across all terrains.

It’s a tribute to their Gulf heritage, and a clear signal of their forward-looking approach to logistics.

From the logo to the full brand system, we built a visual identity that’s solid, flexible, and ready for the future.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Saluti, a heart-driven initiative in Utrecht that supports connection, dialogue, and community.

Our team crafted a visual identity that reflects warmth, inclusivity, and energy, just like the people behind it. From the sun-inspired logo made of stylized figures to the vibrant color palette and soft type choices, every detail was built to celebrate belonging and diversity.

Scroll through for a few glimpses of the process!
Always proud to collaborate with projects that make a difference.

"Inspired by nature, crafted for well-being."

Recently, we collaborated with Pharma Brand, a Saudi-based chain of health and wellness pharmacies, to design a visual identity that reflects their mission to enhance well-being through medicines, health products, and cosmetics.

The butterfly icon symbolizes growth and renewal, inspired by its transformative life cycle—mirroring Pharma Brand’s commitment to health and resilience. Clean, vibrant, and modern, the design embodies trust and vitality, aligning perfectly with their purpose of supporting positive change in everyday lives.

Here is another visual identity we finished recently at Snono Design Studio for "Alliantie Inclusieve Energietransitie" (AIE)!

This logo embodies AIE’s mission for a sustainable, inclusive energy future, merging a sun icon with wind turbine elements to symbolize their commitment to renewable energy. It’s a clean design that reflects AIE’s work toward an inclusive energy transition, and we’re glad to have helped bring their vision to life.

Delighted to unveil our latest creation: a clean, simple logo for Mokha Story, a coffee brand from the UK that celebrates Yemen's rich coffee history.

The logo shows the terraced farming method, known for producing Arabica coffee. This connects the brand's deep roots in tradition with a modern look, highlighting Mokha Story's dedication to quality and heritage in today's coffee scene.

We are excited to present our latest creation, the visual identity for "De Muzar" - a delightful coffee brand based in Amsterdam, merging the rich history of Yemen, the birthplace of coffee, with the irresistible allure of this beloved beverage. The name "De Muzar" pays homage to the revered fertility goddess, "Dhat Muzr," from ancient South Arabia (Marib/Yemen).

The logo was inspired by an ancient carved piece originally from Yemen and now displayed at the Walters Art Museum in the US. It beautifully portrays the goddess emerging gracefully from vine leaves and grapes, reflecting the artistic styles of ancient South Arabia during the 2nd and 3rd centuries CE.

In this logo, we honor the divine femininity of Dhat Muzr while capturing the essence of coffee culture. The intertwined vines symbolize the journey of the coffee beans, from lush plantations in the fertile lands of Yemen to the brand's customers around the globe

We are thrilled to share the branding project we designed for Tadhamon Microfinance, a bank specializing in supporting small and micro enterprises, was a remarkable endeavor. Established in 2006 as part of Tadhamon Bank, which originated in Yemen in 1996, the Microfinance bank aimed to create a new visual identity that encapsulated its core values.

Through extensive brainstorming sessions with the client, we collectively agreed on a shovel logo with a leaf incorporated into it as the symbol for the bank's new identity. This carefully crafted logo represents growth, building, and planting, while symbolizing the patient journey towards progress. It serves as a powerful visual reminder of the bank's unwavering commitment to empowering individuals and nurturing their entrepreneurial aspirations. The Arabic typeface, designed by the renowned typographer Sultan Almaktari, complements the logo, further enhancing its visual impact.

The combination of the shovel symbol with the leaf perfectly captures the essence of Tadhamon Microfinance, effectively conveying their dedication to fostering economic growth and empowerment within the community.

We're happy to reveal the new logo we created for Bloom Media, a Full Service Media Agency, as part of their new identity design project.

Our aim was to design a simple yet powerful logo that truly embodies the brand. The tulip, a symbol of elegance and simplicity, was selected as the symbol for the logo. While creating a simple logo is no easy feat, our team at Snono put in the time and effort to ensure that the design was both detailed and impactful. The final result is a clean, modern visual identity that effectively communicates Bloom Media's professional image.

Congratulations to Bloom Media on the launch of their new identity. We wish them continued success.

We were happy to work with Utrecht Municipality on Eerst een Thuis project.

We used our experience to create some social impact locally through design and photography. We were commissioned to capture some portraits to be used in the printed magazine and to design the project web page.
