Back to reality. I’m settled in and have been cleaning 🧹 my house 🏠 and catching up on stuff since I went away for three weeks, sigh 😞. Saw these tortoises while on holiday. So fascinating 🧐 actually there were 17 of them!

Made more great holiday memories today. Enjoyed delicious 😋 Indian cuisine with great service. Afterwards we went to Luciano’s for drinks 🥤 had a truly wonderful time with great company.

Went on another tour of the island 🏝️ now counting the days to going back ☹️ to The Netherlands 🇳🇱
Oh well all good things come to an end don’t they?
Anyway, enjjoyed a love 💕 lunch 🥪 at a quaint little restaurant on the way back to the apartment

Good morning. ☀️ yes it’s morning here. And yes I’m still on the beautiful island 🏝️ of Bonaire 🇧🇶
But sadly ☹️ my vacation is coming to an end, sigh 😔

A beautiful sunset today ☀️ spent the afternoon at the beach 🏖️ Snorkeld a bit and after the sunset went satisfied back to the apartment. It was a lovely day. Saw some crabs 🦀 and interesting 🤔 looking fish 🐟 in the water.

We visited the little houses where slaves slept after working in the salt mines 👇🏼 such tiny little structures. Hardly a house! Quite impactful to see 🥲

Another day at the seaside. Enjoyed meeting and talking to fellow holiday makers and friendly locals.

Then enjoyed a swim in the sea and the swimming pool lol 😂 of course I went snorkeling as well. Saw some exquisitely beautiful fish. But scaredy me got spooked by an octopus 🐙. Thought it was a plant 🌱 but nope.
Anyway, I enjoyed my day.

I spent another day at the beach 🏖️ and it was worth it. I went snorkeling 🤿 and saw some amazing fish and erm other creatures. Got really startled when I went eyeball 👀 to eyeball with a water snake, urgh. You should have seen me run out of that water like I was on land. Oh boy!

A day at Eden Beach Seaside 🌊 Resort Kralendijk. What a lovely sight to behold. The beauty of this business is that you get to do it and enjoy yourself at the same time.
