As a freelancer, I've always been considered a business owner, at least according to the chamber of commerce and certainly the IRS.😄 I took pride in showing up to projects, putting in the hours, and delivering top-notch results. But there was a constant realization gnawing at me: true businesses don't just rely on the owner's physical presence to generate income.

Every project, every gig required me to be there in person to make money. While I loved the freedom and creativity freelancing provided, it became clear that I was trading my time for money. And time, as we all know, is our most precious resource. ⏳ I began to dream of something more sustainable, something that would allow me to build wealth 💰 and create opportunities without being tethered to every single job.

Walk your own path.

When setting goals it's crucial to make sure they are genuinely yours.

Don't get me wrong, it's always smart to take good advice into consideration.

It can prevent you from doing something stupid.
But, in many cases it can also prevent you from doing something great.

Family and friends often have your best interest at heart when they express their views and opinions about your plans.

However, they don't see what you're seeing.
It's your dream, goal or desire you're working towards, not theirs.

If it's not your own goals you're working on, but goals imposed on you under the influence of others, it's very likely you will encounter a lot of obstacles and setbacks because you're not really walking your own true path.

If your goals are truly yours, chosen from the heart and genuinely allign with your personal beliefs and convictions, you will find very little resistance along the way, and making progress can even seem effortless.

It's key to keep your own counsel.
