This was a short trip, but definitely one to remember!
Together with Pedro Teixeira Farto, I travelled to Sรฃo Miguel to visit Lusitano Garden Villas and experience as much of the Aรงores as possible in just 2 nights and 2.5 days.
And we definitely did! We discovered beautiful places around the island, we went whale watching, enjoyed amazing food, had a picnic between the mares, relaxed in the hot springs and, of course, spent time with the horses. I also got the chance to ride several of them in lessons with Joรฃo Canto Tavares. ๐
And the timing of our trip made it even more special, because we celebrated Pedroโs birthday there! ๐
Actually, at exactly midnight when his birthday started, Pedro was sitting where he probably feels most at homeโฆ on the back of a horse! ๐๐ด
Joรฃo really made sure we experienced as much as possible during our short stay and it gave me plenty of ideas for Lusitano Horses | Holidays โข Sales โข Magazineโฆ
Because now we are going to explore whether we can turn this into a new Global Horse Holiday in the Aรงores: a beautiful complete program combining riding, Lusitano horses and everything that makes Sรฃo Miguel so special. ๐๐๐ด
The first reason we visited the island was for writing a full article about our visit and Lusitano Garden Villas in the next Global Horse Magazine, so much more to come!
