Can I Trust AI?
Short answer: yes⌠but not the way people think.
AI is confident â not conscious.
It doesnât âknowâ things the way you do. It predicts what sounds right based on patterns.
So the real question isnât: âCan I trust AI?â
Itâs: âWhat can I trust AI to do â and what should I never outsource?â
â
What AI is great for (high trust)
âŞď¸Drafting messy first versions (captions, emails, outlines)
âŞď¸Summarising long text into key points
âŞď¸Brainstorming options when your brain is tired
âŞď¸Organising your thoughts into a structure you can edit
â ď¸ Where you need a âtrust filterâ
âŞď¸Facts (it can invent details and sound convincing)
âŞď¸Advice that impacts money, health, legal, or reputation
âŞď¸Decisions (AI can suggest⌠you decide)
đĽ The part most people get wrong:
They ask AI to write business-specific contentâŚ
without giving it business-specific truth.
Thatâs when you get:
âŞď¸generic messaging
âŞď¸invented details
âŞď¸âkinda rightâ content that doesnât really fit
This is exactly why I built Genius File Pro⢠(my web app inside SoloGenius.ai).
Your business brain in a doc: foundations, offers, audience, and voice â plus built-in AI instructions.
AI goes from guessing⌠to knowing whatâs true for your business and sounding like you.
Hereâs the rule I use:
AI can draft.
You direct.
You approve.
And if you want a quick sanity check before you rely on an output:
The 3-step Trust Test
1. Does this match what I know is true in my business?
2. Would I put my name on this without checking?
3. If this is wrong â whatâs the cost?
If the cost is high â verify, rewrite, or donât use it.
Because the win with AI isnât blind trust.
Itâs clear inputs + fast ex*****on + your judgment on top.
Question for you:
Whatâs the one thing you wish AI understood about your business before it writes anything? đ
