only change so much. Everybody must seek within and understand that we all have a personal responsibility to take care of this planet so we can pass it on to the next generation in better shape than when we in heritage
buddha jeans are not only concerned with making jeans, it is just our living. We have come to a point in time where everybody on an individual level must take care of the environment, not only politicians or environmentalist. We mean that every single company large or small must do their effort to make this happen as well. buddha jeans are only an only a small company but we think if we try to do our share as well we might influence others to do so. We think outside the box in the way we produce, use media, labels, transportation etc., in our product life cycle management. We aim high but if we only can make one thing happen that is a good start. As our name is buddha jeans with the small letter B, we do this because our name comes from buddha nature who means to return to the natural state before one got poisoned by actions as greed, hate, envy, bitterness etc. We apply this to Earth, we need to reverse this damaging process and return to Earths natural state. This is what the buddha jeans name is all about. We also use classical values found in Eastern philosophy as our guidance. There is no need to use a fancy marketing or business strategies, same sh*t, new wrapping. We believe in positive values as happiness, inner peace, wisdom, love and compassion. There is no need to waste energy on what have happened, what other thinks or feel. We will focus on our job in a positive way. We do not know about problems, only solutions. We think technology will save us but that is to ignore the truth. As much as we may celebrate our art, scientific knowledge, poems, paintings and music we must not forget that our biggest enemy are our self and that truth cannot be ignored we can no longer ignore the truth that we are also ‘the most dangerous animal’. Humans are opportunistic, as are all higher animals, and characteristically greedy. Our higher intelligence confers the capacity to manipulate others to accumulate power or resources. We are quite easily trained into violent forms of aggression. Now that we have ‘accidentally’ acquired the capacity to destroy the climate of this planet, what will we call upon to restrain ourselves in time? buddha jeans are how to develop a beautiful design with a sustainable approach. We believe sustainable fashion design is the new revolution in jeans wear. Quality will replace price as the main parameter to buy products now. buddha Jeans has a mission to create a sustainable Jeans and T-shirt product by employing Design Thinking with positive core values. We design from the inside and out, not merely create a new jean in the market. We are ready to introduce our line summer 2012
