Pencils for time optimists! Do you have something you need designed before the summer vacation?

I've got some slots for relatively quick design jobs in May and June. I also recommend booking in advance if you need something designed in August so I can... uhmm... pencil it in! ✏️

New York-based Love, Burns' new LP is released 29 May on Spinout Nuggets and Jigsaw Records. The talented Bren Sweeney made the sleeve art and I designed the sleeve. I absolutely love working on music graphics projects!

These past few weeks I've been very busy and have had to say no to potential clients who needed their design "yesterday".

Lately I've been designing an annual report, an exhibition design logo and illustration and I've been teaching at an art school. From Monday I'll be working hard on a magazine design for a museum, while listening to my fave music and drinking copious amounts of coffee.

Tuesday 24 March more slots open up, so if you need something designed from then on, do get in touch on here or [email protected].

PS: The plant in the photo is long dead, I'm afraid. However much I'm trying to be a plant person I fail at the attempt of keeping my poor plants alive. 🌸

These past couple of weeks I've been working on a book design for a Norwegian adventurer. I've learnt a lot about the outdoors from this project – who knows, maybe I'll even invest in a tent sometime? ⛺ 🎪

I would love to work on more book, magazine and report design projects this year, as I feel completely zen when working on these kind of projects (coffee and a good soundtrack at the ready). I desember jobbet jeg på oppdrag for Norsk kulturforum med å designe prosjektrapporten for Kulturytring 2025. Kulturytring er Norges største kulturpolitiske samling og foregår neste gang i Drammen 21.-23. juni 2027.

Jeg elsker designstilen Kulturytring har og koste meg ordentlig med å designe rapporten i denne looken. Det var ekstra hyggelig å designe for en oppdragsgiver der jeg brenner så innmari for temaet. Tusen takk for oppdraget, Åshild Rullestad Eriksen og co!

Magasin- og rapportdesign er noe av det gøyeste jeg jobber på, og jeg tar gjerne flere slike oppdrag fremover. Jeg har denne uka fått go-ahead for et årsrapport-oppdrag og et magasin-oppdrag, men jeg har plass til flere lignende oppdrag enten fra slutten av januar til midten av februar eller etter 23. mars. Det er bare å sende meg en melding her eller på [email protected] skulle du ha et oppdrag til meg. 💫

Time for my annual "Design for Christmas?" post. ☃️

Now is the time to get in touch if you need anything designed before Christmas. I'm on vacation from 22 December, but before that I've got some time to design in-between marking exams.

I've got no slots free in November as I'm working on a fun report layout the rest of the month and have squeezed in some other smaller projects, too. Soooo... December is your gal! Oh, and if you're not in a hurry, January is available for bookings, too.

On 1 June 2002, Jofred Eimhjellen caught this hangry-looking fish.

Completely unrelated to the photo (from the dining room at Gloppen Hotel), I've got some design slots free in October.

Lately, these have been some of the themes: Concrete, apple juice, law, software, yoga, security, coaching, animation.

I'm happy to design for (with a few horrible exceptions) any industry and in the style that best suits the product or service, for Norwegian and international clients. Email me on [email protected] or drop me a line on LinkedIn if you've got something for me to design!

And the fish photo? It was from when Anne Mette from Prestegaard-design and I grabbed dinner when we first started planning the main exhibition "Attåt" at Nordfjord Folk Museum. I have wondered about Jofred's story ever since.

Last year I designed the logo for Ida Serneberg Wallin's company Rigiblick. Working with Ida was super inspiring, especially the brainstorming and moodboard process before actually starting the design.

Ever since working with Ida at Noroff Campus Oslo when we were teaching digital marketing, I've looked up to her. She's got such a bright, creative mind, she is super fair and generally a good person – and her love of books is infectious. With her having moved back to Sweden, it's nice to follow her career from the sidelines. On some occasions, though, we still get to collaborate, like on this logo or on projects we've done for The Hamrin Foundation.

Check out rigiblick.se if you're looking for a digital advisor or vocational teacher. I bet Ida is fully booked for the rest of the year, but you never know... oh, and do follow her on LinkedIn for her musings in Swedish, Norwegian or English.

And Rigiblick? It's not only a company, it's also a place in Switzerland. If you look closely you'll maybe notice that the logo is inspired by the Rigiblick Seilbahn.
