भ्रष्टाचार गर्नु, फ्रड गर्नु—यी पनि अपराध नै हुन् होइन र?

सानो मान्छेले गरे अपराध ठहरिने, तर ठूला मान्छेले गरे के फरक कानुन लाग्छ?
कि नियम र न्याय पनि हैसियत अनुसार बदलिन्छ?

तिमीहरूलाई मात्र रिस उठ्ने,
तिमीहरूलाई मात्र अपमानित महसुस हुने,
तिमीहरूको मात्र भावना दुख्ने…
तिमीहरूको मात्र परिवार…

तिमीहरूले मात्र जे मनमा आयो बोल्न मिल्ने,
तिमीहरूले मात्र जे मन लाग्यो गर्न मिल्ने—
तिमीहरूको डम्फुको तालमा अरू सबै नाच्नुपर्ने?

तिमीहरूको झुट सबैले विश्वास गर्नुपर्ने,
तिमीहरूको नाटक सबैले सहनुपर्ने?

चल्दैन यसरी, राजा बाबु।
अरू त के हुन् र? ढुंगा नै होलान् नि—न भावना, न पीडा, न आत्मसम्मान।

तिमीहरूले गर्न सक्ने सबै गरिसक्यौ।
अब म के गर्न सक्छु भन्ने कुरा तिमीहरूको कल्पनाभन्दा धेरै टाढा छ।

त्यसैले अब उक्साउने, जिस्क्याउने खेल बन्द गर—
र सुध्रिनु, समीक्षा गर्नु, आफूले गलत गरेको महसुस गर्नु।
सुध्रिन मौका सबैले पाउँछन्।

Over the past few decades, while a handful of individuals have risen through sheer discipline, integrity, and relentless hard work, a far larger number have chosen the easier path—cutting corners, bending rules, and in many cases, outright embracing illegal means to achieve success. This growing normalization of shortcuts over substance is not just concerning—it undermines merit, distorts fair competition, and erodes the very foundation of trust in society.

It is disappointing to observe that Buddha Air has recently shown a decline in prompt customer service standards. In several recent travel experiences, flight delays of 2–3 hours or even longer have become quite common.

Instead of providing appropriate passenger care or compensation such as refreshments or alternative arrangements, passengers are often left to endure the delay in multiple stages—waiting at the terminal, then being moved into an overheated or uncomfortable bus, and finally waiting again inside the aircraft.

This overall handling of delays needs urgent improvement, as continued negligence in customer service may seriously affect passenger satisfaction and trust in the airline.

एउटा प्रधानमन्त्रीले, एउटा प्रधान न्यायाधीशले र एउटा अख्तियारको प्रमुखले “म भ्रष्टाचार गर्दिनँ र अरूलाई पनि गर्न दिन्नँ” भनेर कसम खाए अवस्था अलग हुन्छ भन्ने मेरो धेरै वर्षदेखिको भनाइ थियो, तर अहिले एक जना प्रधानमन्त्रीले त्यो कसम खाँदा केही दिनमै धेरै कुरामा धार देखिन थालिसकेको छ। यसले के देखाउँछ भने, देश परिवर्तन गर्न ठूलो भाषण होइन, इमानदार नेतृत्व, कडा निर्णय र भ्रष्टाचारप्रति शून्य सहनशीलता चाहिन्छ।

A sudden improvement in service can definitely make people wonder why it was not happening before.

But it may not always mean everyone in the past was only focused on making money. Sometimes systems improve because of new leadership, stricter monitoring, digital processes, fear of action, public pressure, or a change in work culture.

That said, if people notice that things which used to take weeks are now happening in days, it is natural for them to question whether delays in the past were caused by inefficiency, lack of accountability, unnecessary bureaucracy, or people benefiting from slow processes.

For ordinary citizens, what matters most is not who gets blamed, but that public offices, courts, and government services become faster, fairer, and more transparent for everyone.
